Hope this comparison between mini rec and mini reissue is useful for someone. They both are 8” wide but the reissue is a little taller. I posted the chain drop lengths on another reference thread but thought it might be useful here, too.
I’ve been thinking about getting a Chanel mini rectangular but the only colour that’s in stock in Australia is apparently the Gold-Tone Metal, Green (A69900Y04059NC636)
it’s my first Chanel bag and I wanted it in black but worried I won’t be able to get my hands on it before rumoured price increases… does anyone have this green colour or an opinion on whether I should hold out for the black one?

Hold out for the one you really want! Otherwise you could get the green first while you wait for the black. I’m considering holding out as I’m not sure what the green will be like in person but will consider this option as it’s a great idea!

- brand new chanel mini lambskin, black with light gold hardware
- preloved extra mini caviar black with aged gold hw
I own one mini in caviar already as i love caviar. Im scared to use lambskin but i love how it looks. Im leaning towards extra mini but any thoughts on the size?

Does anyone know what leather and hardware combination is a BLACK Rectangular Flap Mini available now 21 series ? I am not looking to buy pre-loved because this is a gift for my sister for graduation. I own a CF Medium in Black Caviar and GHW and wanted to buy something similar but last I heard caviar has not come in a mini size for years now.

The rectangular mini flap only comes in lambskin with SHW for 21B and LGHW for 21K. There’s a caviar seasonal mini flap with adjustable chain and brushed GHW to be released for 21K.

As it is pretty rare and the Soho boutique told me I maybe the 100th person on the waitlist, is there another color it would be available in?
The extra mini is really small - similar to a Gucci marmont super mini bag. Tiny bags and nano bags are in, but the extra mini is not a classic item and did not get released any other seasons. I'd stay classic with a lamb mini or just patiently wait for a regular mini caviar.
From what I saw on the 21K thread, there should be black, blue, pink, in iridescent caviar, and also white.
