Hi there. I think these issues are "normal" but unacceptable imo. I had to return 3 lambskin mini squares in the last 5 months b/c they all had issues. The first one had a popped stitch, the flap on the second one was seriously crooked and the last one looked crushed in the front. At this point, although I love this style, I have given up on owning a mini square at least in lambskin.Hi friends! I just received this mini square from the boutique and noticed a couple of things:
1. The left side of the bag sticks out when looking at it from the front and the right side does not. See picture one.
2. One side of the bag folds in more unevenly than the other side. See picture two.
Are these normal? Thank you in advance.

They might track the returns, but I can't accept bags with these quality issues and there wasn't a way around it b/c in my case, I had to get on a reserve list and buy them without seeing the bags. If they had shown me the merchandise beforehand, I would have never bought them and hence no need to return. At any rate, the fact that they are handmade is not an excuse for a seriously crooked flap or crushed bag imo. Were you able to see this mini in the boutique first and then purchase?I am sorry to hear that. I would think it is not too much to expect these to be perfectly aligned given how much they cost, although I do understand that they are hand made. Do you have any concerns with having too many returns? Not sure if they track those for whatever reason, although the returns may be perfectly reasonable.

Ah I see. That does make the situation trickier.Unfortunately I don’t live near a boutique and had to work with an SA remotely. He did send me pictures, but I couldn’t see some of it very well.
Unfortunately quality issues are quite prevalent in the minis and Chanel doesn't care. These are hot commodities and will sell out. I turned down two minis and while I was still in the boutique another girl came in and bought one of them.
Not a lot less. I own both and I would say that the boy is very rigid whereas the mini has no inside flap and so can expand a bit more.Debating whether to sell my old medium boy for a mini flap. I’m falling out of love for Le boy.. does the mini fit a lot less??
It's beautiful! What season is it from and where did u find it?
It’s from 20S and I purchased from a lovely seller in London, Ontario. The bag was originally purchased from Harrods in London, England. It's beautiful! What season is it from and where did u find it?
