Got my 2.55 mini today! I've been on the waiting list at my local boutique for months, but when price increase rumors started circulating I reached out to a Neiman's Chanel rep and she had this bag in stock and was able to sell it to me over the phone. I'm sad to miss the boutique experience, but happy to finally have the bag (and extra happy to get it before the upcoming price increase)!

I was hoping that my first mini purchase will be in caviar, but after two years I got tired of waiting. So, voila!!! Here’s a look of my mini square in lambskin.

Congratulations on your new bag! How is the lambskin May I ask? I’ve been waiting for the right combination caviar gold hardware square mini to come in preloved market but it’s so hard to get and I’m wondering if I should buy the lambskin too as I’m tired of waiting for caviar.

Are they usually hard to come by? And are they the same price as the normal rectangular mini? Or were you just after a certain color/hw combo?

I think 2.55 minis are not always readily available, since my local boutique had none in stock for months. This one was $3,500 USD. I think it's the same price as classic minis, but I'm not sure. Sorry!

I wanted a 2.55 instead of a classic for a few reasons:
- closer to the original design
- more under the radar (no CC lock)
- calfskin is more durable than lambskin
- the 2.55 has 4 grommets for the strap but the classic only has 2 grommets
