I've been using my sample of everyday minerals, and I love it! Much better than BE. The foundation, the eye shadow - much better, and much cheaper! My skin doesn't tingle like it did with the BE. After my sample of everyday minerals is gone, I'm going to try the monave. I'm so impressed with the mineral makeup. My skin has never looked better.

jacq thanks for the recommendation, I'm going to try to send away for some from Monav, unfortunately the only downside is that I have to use a credit card, Paypal seems so much easier for me, anyway I do plan to check it out once my sample runs out and once my dad refills the card ; )

Someone else mentioned BE as not being 100% natural, is that true and how?

Dlg, I know what you mean about the tingling, now that I can compair them I feel BE is a little larger and not as 'fine' as EM. The colours are amazing, they blend so well for a smokey eye unlike BE.

no problem Miss 2 A..=)
i am glad that you are loving MMU! try doing the wet application, and i am sure you'll be amazed with the results..imagine no need for touch-ups within the day..isn't that awesome?
what kind of brush do you use when you apply your MMU? a kabuki brush provides perfect application....=)

I use the brushes from my BE kit, also I got a free mini brush with the EM sample (it's a tiny one very nice for shadow. I also have a small eyeliner brush which can be moistened, and I'm really looking forward to trying them wet today.

I've used Bare Escentuals for 2 years. However, it would look great when I put it on but by the end of the day my face looked awful! It never really lasted on me. I then tried using Physician's formula, Neutrogena, Loreal, and Emani mineral foundations and I found those to be less natural and didn't feel the same as BE. I later found Everyday Minerals intense and won't go back to any other mineral makeup. It's a lot cheaper than BE, just as pure, contains only 4 different ingredients, and offers more coverage since I purchase the intense version. The containers are also a lot cuter! you can even get free samples online!
At one point, I ran out of mineral make up so I had to go back to using standard MAC liquid foundation for a day ( I had some left over). I felt like I was putting a bunch of artificial chemicals on my face and it felt too heavy. My face felt dirty. It had good coverage, but it just felt different. Now I dont think I can ever go back to anything but mineral foundation. The only non-mineral make up that I do use is anything that goes on my eyes or lips.

The only brands with mineral stuff in Austria are Isadora, MAC and L'Oreal (the colors are awfully pink), so I only got an Isadora color (Honey Beige). It doesn't cover much, and is too dark for my skintone ~NC25, but the finish is great, looks so polished, not chalky at all like normal powders

Glad you're all enjoying your mineral makeup as much as I am.
I've been using everyday minerals too now, and it's great!! Love their concealers and eyeshadows too, everything sticks so well and I don't even have to use anything before applying it.

BE is ok. I'll use it once in a while if I need to run out quickly, but it doesn't stick to my face and somehow I don't like using the vitamin thing that comes along with it. It feels like glue for some reason.
