I like my 21yo son's reason for not wanting to even try weed, "It makes you stupid." Some of his peers were users and they just dropped out of his life.
Agreed! I am a huge Breaking Bad fan...there is no glorification in drug use at all, so your right she is an idiot saying that. The portrays the the exact opposite about meth, unless she thinks everything that has happened to those characters is "cool".
Between this and her Justin Bieber "mentoring" advise I am convinced she is delusional
I agree. I was thinking about the people I went to HS with that were really into pot and for the most part, they did nothing with their lives. It's sad.
dunno if this was posted before but it made me LOL:

"Molly" is suppose to be pure MDMA..however, just cause it's supposed to be doesn't mean it actually is.
BTW..does anyone know/remember why/when ecstasy became unpopular? I just remember it being everywhere in the clubs for a period of time and then I just didn't see it as often anymore.
Molly is ecstasy... I have no idea why people would attempt that stuff because it has the worst side effects out of all the drugs... and some people die after using it once....
I know there are probably some NYC posters who remember that nightclub The Limelight back in the 80's and 90's... that club were notorious for dealing ecstasy... I guess ecstasy fad died when that club was shut down... either that or there were too many deaths related to that... now you got that Trinidad James and Miley Cyrus singing about it... now all the kids wanna do it... it's so stupid...
She had a point about Breaking Bad, except I don't think she ever mentioned they were glorifying drug use. If she did, then she's an idiot and the people who watch Breaking Bad and see ANY sort of glorification of drug use are idiots too. *She* is glorifying drug use.
She didnt say that BB glorified drug use, she said that she thinks America is hypocritical about what it gets up in arms about, pointing out that Breaking Bad is basically a tutorial in meth-making. She has a very valid point, yet that show is consistently hailed as must-see TV, won numerous awards etc.
She is glorifying HER drug use through her music and imagery I imagine, but until I see the media raking every single celebrity across the coals for this (look at Snoop for cripes sake, the man is baked every second of the day) I'm giving her a pass. I just want to see the scales balanced. Male celebrities get away with 10 times worst than female celebs.
