I don't even have pierced ears, so you can tell I have no idea what I'm talking about. I'd think the tissue sort of grows around the piercing, unless you keep moving it, the way girls do with their earrings? What about removal? I imagine that would be very painful as well.

You're right, you do have to spin the piercing around a few times a day. Once it's pierced, removing it is painless. It's like taking out an earring. If at any point it becomes infected though, keeping a piercing can be painful. It's more pleasant than getting a tattoo imo - I have half of my back tattooed, which took 9 hours. It was the most miserable experience of my life!

Wow, nine hours is a looooong time. What pattern do you have? Sort of free-form, or with a particular theme? I used to be opposed to tattoos, but have seen some very beautiful ones recently.

That show had a TV14 on it, which meant no one under 14 should of been watching it, perhaps it should of had a stronger warning on it, not Miley's fault. I'm not sticking up for her but this is an issue of our society at large not just Miley Cirus. If this had been on a cable pay network, would we still be talking about it? Also for all the people who were outraged by it all they had to do was turn the channel and not give MTV the ratings, I also wonder how many people who were outraged by it went to the trouble to re watch it? This is a societal issue, not just a Cirus issue. I will repeat I am not a Cirus fan, and I'm not not a Cirus fan, really ambivalent about her. I just think the bigger issue is being overlooked.

I rarely post in this thread but that is one helluva ugly hair cut. She has to have a really really good personality if Liam is still engaged with her. If I was a man i would not wanna be in bed with a woman with that hair style. But that's just me.

It's a big japanese koi fish... Wasn't my first choice but I needed to cover up a few smaller dark tattoos from my high school days and It required a colorful piece :)
