I’m just wondering if there is a way to tell if my Michael Kors bag is genuine Python? I’ve searched all over the internet and don’t see any helpful information. My mom gave it to me and doesn’t remember anything about it. Just curious if it is actual snakeskin or just a print. Thanks in advance for any help!

Brush your fingers against the scales upward. If no scales lift, it’s definitely not real snake skin.

I believe this bag was made of embossed snakeskin, not genuine snakeskin.
