Yes, pebbled leather is very durable. Believe it or not, my lamb leather bags have held up really over the years and I am pretty hard on my bags. But the calf vitello leather scratches fairly easily, but always buffs right off with a good conditioner. Just requires more maintenance. The saffiano, I have no clue as don't have any yet. It's funny because we have had so many requests for authenticity on the saffiano bags. Many don't believe it is leather and therefore think the bags are fake. We have to repeatedly explain to them it is real and why.

Yep, someone on 'that thread' said the same though they didn't reference saffiano but am fairly confident that is what they meant since they didn't believe mks were made of real leather.

As you know i own 1 saffiano bag and that is by any brand, it has it's perks but is a breed all it's own, gets strong feelings for either for or against. I definitely prefer my softer leather bags as my day to day but don't dislike having one saffiano option, but as i always say i don't want a herd of it either.

Thanks! I think the new Travelers are only sold at the MK boutiques/website for now, and it's on sale for about $209 :)

I'm debating between luggage and dusty rose. Are the creases towards the top of the traveler noticeable on a lighter color like dusty rose?

I have dark khaki soft leather, black soft leather, a color similar to dark dune in a Coach bag, a brown Rebecca Minkoff (not luggage, but a lighter brown)...not sure if I should go for another neutral (which I love) since it would be so versatile, and I don't have anything like luggage. Or go for dusty rose which is so unique and pretty. Can dusty rose be worn all year round?

DR is super feminine and i do feel could be worn year round if you have the right sort of weather, like here because we are wet and they toss salt around i would fear for a light colored bag.

Sounds like you have plenty of neutrals already, perhaps time for something a bit different? ;)

You're right but I'm naturally drawn to Browns and luggage is that rich brown I love. Oh goodness! I like dusty rose too but I think I will go to the store to check it out. Hopefully they have that $50 off $250 deal in stores as well because I want a bracelet too haha

I'm thinking of getting the traveler in the luggage color. I had a bag in luggage and loved the color, but that was saffiano leather. is the color any different with pebbled leather?

It looks a tad bit lighter than the saffiano. It's not as "deep" as the saffiano if that makes sense. I think the pebbled leather is still gorgeous though, bound to be a classic for a long time.

Well....I've been naughty. I went to the MK store today to look at the hamilton travelers. I didn't think I'd love dusty rose as I wasn't a huge fan of it in saffiano. I was prepared to take the luggage home with me. When I saw them on the shelf I still gravitated towards luggage as I love my browns. However, when I tried each one on, the dusty rose just looked so much better to me and more "me."

I am justifying this as a present to myself for passing the CA bar exam. I just found out that I passed last Friday so every time I carry this beautiful bag I will remember all the years of law school and endless days of studying at the library to achieve this goal that I've been aiming for since I was young. I'm so excited to add this color and style to my collection! I will post pics later today.
