It's a good classic combo!

I just looked at my beautiful hammy and noticed the leather around the feet has lost its colour.
Has anyone else noticed it happen on theirs? It hasn't happened in either of my Selmas I wonder if it has anything to do the SHW or just the slouchy-ness of the bag.
I must admit I'm a bit disappointed as I can't say I've carried her much, and I do tend to baby this bag a bit due to the soft Vitello leather :-(

Yes, I have a black with gold hardware, and the entire bottom of my bag is whiteish. I can't explain it as I am really careful with my bags. I used leather lotion on it, and it didn't help. It has made me stick to saffiano leather in any future bag purchases.

Thanks for the quick response. I have just tried some Clarks Moisurising Balm on the bag, hopefully it will help. As you say it has put me off the soft leather bags. At least we can be thankful it's the bottom of the bag and nowhere else.

Dang! I couldn't find any with SHW on ebay so I got the green with gold hardware instead. Love this Vitello Leather! I will keep looking though, for the SHW, but happy to have this beautiful Gooseberry green! Getting all locked and loaded for fall! Is my favorite time of year!!

How do you like your gooseberry traveler? I found one on eBay that I'm tempted to get. I'm deciding between the gooseberry and the pebbled leather ones in Merlot or black that just showed up on the Michael Kors website.

I love it! The Vitello Calf leather is amazing! It is a shade of green that compliments many outfits. I do love the merlot as well. Actually, burgundy is my favorite color my whole life! Either one would be great, but I would go for the best deal and get the other one later.

Thanks for the reply! :) I went to check out the Merlot in pebbled leather and ended up with the black Hamilton traveler in pebbled leather. I'm so glad they brought back this style. I made the mistake of selling my Hamilton travelers last year when I was cleaning out my closet and I have missed that style ever since.

My biggest fear when selling a bag is missing it. As soon as I advertise it and take the pictures I back down. I gave away my Luggage Traveler and put my black one up last month but part of me is glad it hasn't soldImageUploadedByPurseForum1444945407.219404.jpg

I really want one ..............I like the dusy rose and cinder one in the pebbled. I sent back my dusty Rose Riley I just didnt like it, the pebble gives it a differnt look. I really like the Cinder traveler but I have Cinder Riley I got from Belk which I haven't used yet.

It's gorgeous! You should keep it if you're having second thoughts. Whenever I think about selling a bag, I try to use it a couple of times before actually listing it to make sure I don't want it anymore. I was worried about the traveler scratching and that was my biggest reason for selling last year. Plus the hardware wasn't holding up very well. But I really liked the style.

The sad thing is I don't use it and I know why - the hardware. Most of my MKs all have the medallions removed and this bag has a lot of hardware. If I ever use it, I remove the lock. Its in perfect condition minus the slight slouching but I have so many other black bags which are more "resistant" that this just sits in my closet. I feel bad that I only take it out once in a while and even than just to look at it.
