So sad. I've been watching the news since dinner. The guy definitely had his personal issues, but he was an absolute amazing artist. I have so many wonderful memories of the 80's that wouldn't be complete without his music. What a tragedy.

I am in complete shock. Im looking at the tv realizing what a big deal really this is. Wow. Very sad. Im trying to remember when a celebrity death was this big of news. I was young, but its probably on par to the shock people felt when Elvis died at 46.
