I can't believe it. I really really can't believe it. Growing up in Hong Kong, I bought my FIRST english tape, and it was from Michael Jackson. Even people in REMOTE China, who do not speak any English know about him. To me, he was (and still is) the ultimate pop star. RIP Michael Jackson - the one who made pop culture what it is today.

I was super shocked when I heard about this today.. 50 is relatively young in this day and age. There's so much speculation being thrown around right now, I can't imagine what his family is going through. I hope everyone backs off and lets them mourn their loss of a family member in private.

I am absolutely floored. I had the video game, watched his 3D show at Epcot Center in Disney World . . . I don't think any music artist could ever really achieve that level.

RIP.

So shocking and sad! I love love his music, and was planning to go to his concert.

I am watching NBC now, they made a special report in memory of Michael Jackson. I still can't believe it.

It really makes me sad to lose a person like michael jackson.. and the weirdest thing was today i was listening to the song "Ben" by Jackson 5.. it weird how things happen :(

Rest in peace.. i truly want to thank him for the amazing music he has left us with today..
In our prayers, in my heart, in God's hands*

I teared up. While I believe the molestation allegations against Michael were true, it seems like he never had a chance at happiness in his life. So much genius & so much tragedy. God rest his soul.

For anybody who was a kid in the '70's two huge icons gone in one day-- Michael and Farrah.
