Bumping the thread because of all the news about the police reports surfacing.

Not sure how I feel about it. He was acquitted in court. He's not alive to defend/explain himself. Many people like porn, even as graphic as is listed. (not my cup of tea).

From what I read in what radar is saying are actual police documents, none of it was actual child pornography, though there were nude photos (nudist magazines, art books) and some were violent/graphic images. The document suggests if children had access to the material, it is consistent with "grooming" practices. Hope it's not true... feel sad for kids/families if they were exposed.

Michael Jackson Stockpiled Nude Images Of Children And Animal Torture, According To Police Report

Police discovered Michael Jackson had a large collection of pornography, which included images of children, animal torture and gore, reportedly used in his bid to seduce young boys. The collection was revealed in newly surfaced documents obtained by RadarOnline that detail a raid on Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch estate in 2003, carried out as part of an investigation into child molestation charges against the singer.

According to previously unseen reports from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department, authorities seized more than 80 video recordings and computer hard drives, as well as notes, diaries, documents, photographs and audiotapes.

Former Santa Barbara Senior Assistant District Attorney Ron Zonen, who helped prosecute Jackson’s case, told RadarOnline that many of the materials found were used to “desensitize” children.

The police report describes several of the materials found at Jackson’s estate and notes that many of the books and images “can be used as part of a ‘grooming’ process by which people (those seeking to molest children) are able to lower the inhibitions of their intended victims and facilitate the molestation of said victims.”

One of the books found in Jackson’s possession was titled, Room to Play, which “contained numerous photographs of children.” According to the report, some of the images contained children’s faces superimposed on adult bodies with their private parts exposed.

Authorities also found numerous photos of children located inside a safe in the employee break room of Jackson’s home.

Jackson was charged with seven counts of child molestation and two counts of administering an intoxicating agent for the purpose of a committing a felony in 2003 after a young boy came forward claiming the singer molested him. In 2005, a jury acquitted him of all charges after a 14-week trial.

Jackson died in 2009 from an overdose of propofol.

Why is all this coming out now, if it was discovered in 2003 and he's been dead for years?

It really comes out of the blue. My only guess is that some time limit has expired and the results of the investigation have now become public record. It has been over 10 years since the trial. Had he lived he might've been able to have his lawyers file to keep the information from coming out.

Radar Online is far from a credible source and I think they just released the article as clickbait knowing it would be widely shared (without fact checking) because it also happens to coincide with it being released shortly before the 7th anniversary of Michael's death which is this Saturday. Anyways the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Office shut down Radar Online's story (in the article below). In short they essentially said Radar Online added pictures from unknown sources/found online and have added them into the official reports. What was found when Neverland when it was raided in 2003 was listed in official reports that have already been released and can easily be found online and included none of what Radar Online mentioned.

Michael Jackson's family, sheriff respond to child-porn allegations
Jermaine Jackson hit back hard on Wednesday after a RadarOnline.com report surfaced, claiming the late singer kept a collection of child pornography at his Neverland Ranch, citing documents from a 2003 raid.

"Let Michael rest in peace. Leave. Him. Alone," Jackson's brother tweeted, after the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Office released a lengthy statement about the report's claims.

In a statement, police spokesperson Kelly Hoover told USA TODAY, "Some of the documents appear to be copies of reports that were authored by Sheriff’s Office personnel as well as evidentiary photographs taken by Sheriff’s Office personnel interspersed with content that appears to be obtained off the internet or through unknown sources." She added, "The Sheriff’s Office did not release any of the documents and/or photographs to the media. The Sheriff’s Office released all of its reports and the photographs as part of the required discovery process to the prosecution and the defense" (referring to Jackson's 2005 sex-abuse trial, in which he was acquitted).

"In death, Michael still suffers trial by media but his exoneration is enshrined in court transcripts 'journalists' are too lazy to read," Jermaine Jackson said in a tweetstorm Wednesday afternoon. He added: "FACT: RT @CEThomson Judge Melville signed off a press statement before trial which said prosecutors had confirmed no child porn was found."

Meanwhile, Jackson's estate accused Radar of trying to exploit the seventh anniversary of the singer's death on Saturday. Jackson died in 2009 from an overdose of the sedative Propofol, which is commonly used by anesthesiologists to put and keep patients under for surgery.

“Everything in these reports, including what the County of Santa Barbara calls ‘content that appears to be obtained off the Internet or through unknown sources’ is false, no doubt timed to the anniversary of Michael's passing,” their statement to Billboard read. “Those who continue to shamelessly exploit Michael via sleazy internet ‘click bait’ ignore that he was acquitted by a jury in 2005 on every one of the 14 salacious charges brought against him in a failed witch hunt.”

The singer's nephew Taj, the son of his brother Tito, registered his disgust with the media via Twitter on Tuesday. "Fake news travels fast," he wrote. "The world picked up this trashy story. There's such a race to be first, only a few checked to see if it's even true."

Jermaine Jackson blamed the media for the spread of the report. "What's more shameful in this age of 'clickbait' is how other media rushed to echo the recycled lie. Research & integrity be damned," he tweeted

The first images of Joseph Fiennes as Michael Jackson that you can't unsee

Bad news, 2017: The Joseph Fiennes-as-Michael Jackson comedy has arrived, and it's not pretty.

The Internet was aghast when the first trailer for the UK show Urban Myths dropped Tuesday night, with Fiennes' prosthetics-heavy visage barely resembling like the singer he's supposed to be playing.

Featuring a host of actors playing figures from Bob Dylan to Adolf Hitler, Urban Myths takes "a slightly tongue in cheek, mischievous – and deliberately ambiguous – look at what might have happened" in famous stories of celebrity folklore.

In Fiennes' episode, titled "Elizabeth, Michael & Marlon," the trio of Elizabeth Taylor, Michael Jackson and Marlon Brando flee post-9/11 New York to Boston in a rental car together, "reflecting on their lives, loves, careers and egos as they go." The 30 minute-long clip also features a cameo from the late Carrie Fisher as a "diner burger flipper," according to a release.

But Fiennes' casting, announced in the thick of the #OscarsSoWhite controversy last year, drew jeers from social media users, criticizing the series' choice of a white actor playing the African-American singer.

Abigail Tye, a spokeswoman for Urban Myths broadcaster Sky Arts, called the program a "lighthearted look at a reportedly true event," about a supposed car ride that Jackson took with Elizabeth Taylor and Marlon Brando.

In another segment, the program features Harry Potter's Rupert Grint playing "Hitler's friend," alongside actor Iwan Rheon's portrayal of the young Fuhrer.

"At least if it was Meryl Streep, we'd be like, 'Yeah I mean, but she's dope.' But Joseph Fiennes? The guy who played Shakespeare? That's like the whitest guy in history!" Trevor Noah joked about the casting decision last year.

Fiennes, who rose to fame in 1998's Shakespeare in Love, told ET he's " as shocked as you may be" that he's playing the late music icon. "I'm a white, middle-class guy from London," he said.

The actor defended Urban Myths against claims that it whitewashed Jackson, who suffered from vitiligo. "[Jackson] definitely had an issue, a pigmentation issue, and that's something I do believe," he said. "He was probably closer to my color than his original color."
