Just finished reading it. Interesting points, as for being selfish at least he owns it so it's not like nobody knows what they are in for, it's hard enough to spend time with your family and close friends when you are away and working constantly, now add to that dating life wise... and I like how he'd rather put his work before the awards circus parade, lesson learned from last year ;)

He's honest about who is he. I respect that. I liked what he said about being dark. I know other interviews have hinted at him being dark but I just see him as someone who can alternate from being intense and incredibly focused to being completely carefree. But I can see how that can be off-putting to some.

I appreciate his honesty about who he is, he's doing his own thing un-apologetically, he's delivering great work and seems like a really carefree chill/crazy (in a good way) kind of guy. I like, I like a lot.

I loved the GQ interview: he seems more guarded. Too much information will dim the mystery. If is not ever present he cannot convincing make the characters believable.

If he continues to ask the relevant questions concerning his private life he will be safe: yes he is vulnerable to "all-kinds-of-everything" females.

Looking forward to viewing his new work.

Indeed, I believe it's important at some point in your life to know who you are and own it, otherwise you are still in the emotional/mental/psychological gutter and at the mercy of other people's thoughts and expectations etc. After all everybody is a bit selfish in their life, everybody has a dark side, everybody can be intense and other overwhelming etc. But as long as you own it and accept those parts of who you are and be honest about it towards other people who may want something from you, your lif becomes so much more lighter and carefree!

The twitter account of someone who is friends with a guy who lived with him for years and still gets constant updates. Like...I almost couldn't believe it, except I recognize the friend's name, and they all live in Hackney...and everything he says about him I simultaneously cannot believe but also find all too plausible. It is NUTS.

Girl, I'm not even sure if I should post this ****. Like, this guy seems to think he's being discreet (and in all likelihood, there's much worse), but he dropped a firebomb about MF going on a date with a MARRIED A-list recent Oscar winner. And not taking a role with a legendary director for some stupid reason.
