I would definitely crash my bike if I rode past Fassbender. Of course, that would be cool. He could play the white knight and rush over to see if I'm okay. :D

And seven cigarettes in a day? I don't believe it. I think he probably smokes seven an hour. I can see him going through seven in one interview, lol.

Judging from his reaction (cue 5:52 onwards) to ladies being in potential danger, maybe he's not that chivalrous ;). Michael, you ko-WAHHH-rd!

Venus, you sleuth :) It made me check said tweet, and lookee here:

@sarcastathon I totes saw Fassy in Tesco yesterday! (friend)
@thechrisoshow He is so humble! Like us common people!! (cyclist)
@sarcastathon He bought mushrooms and oil but had to wait for his ladyfriend at the checkout while she went back for a missed item! (friend)

Nicole is still shacked up at the apt, y'all :smooch:. Get it, girl.

Jesus, was that whole movie green-screened? WORST MOVIE EVER. :nogood: And those two seemed like they were kind of short on chemistry. I like how he's just sitting there smoking while waiting for the scene to start. They said not one word to each other. But my favorite line: "I don't trust my donkey." Sorry but I :lolots: when he said that.

As for Nicole, she must've flown to London either Friday or Saturday because on Thursday she was at the Grey Goose Pre-Oscar Dinner, honoring African American women in film, where she was honored (not sure for what) along with a couple of other actresses. http://theybf.com/image/grey-goose-pre-oscar-dinner-hosted-by-alfre-woodard-honoring-african-american-women-in-film

See famous stars at Place d’Armes
When you head to the Cercle Cité these days you will find Tilda Swinton, Michael Fassbender and Gary Oldman, to name a few, in a fascinating portrait collection by photographer Fabrizio Maltese.

The exhibition, dubbed Role/Play, sees world famous actors and directors captured by Maltese’s camera. But the question remains who these people in the photos are, and what role they are playing.

Do we see a rare glimpse into the “private” self of the likes of Helena Bonham Carter and Jeff Bridges? Or are they merely playing yet another part, in front of yet another camera that is pointed at them?

Viewers got a first chance to take a look at Maltese’s photos at the Vernissage on Wednesday evening which saw, among others, culture alderman Lydie Polfer and Film Fund director Guy Daleiden examine the works.

The exhibition will remain open for the duration of the Discovery Zone film festival until March 9 at the Ratskeller in the Cercle Cité (entry from the rue du Cure), which will also serve as the festival HQ.

This is interesting!

It appears Nicole did not actually attend this event though she was honored. I was browsing pics of this event last week and never saw any pics of her.

I saw no photos of her when I was browsing sites for the event the other day but it doesn't necessarily mean that she wasn't there. I have a hard time believing that she'd miss an important event like that. Maybe. But if I knew that the fassdong would still be waiting for me the next day or the day after that, I'd attend the dinner and hop on a flight in the morning.

FASSBENDER - Quite crazy

Michael Fassbender often plays various parts, which demand a great deal of him. Currently the crossover actor can be admired as a sex addict in “Shame”. On the occasion of the german Premiere of “Haywire” - which is the fourth Premiere he attends after “Jane Eyre”, “A Dangerous Method” and “Shame” within only four months btw - the star, who was born in Heidelberg, told us how he recovers from shooting…

You’ve played the psychoanalyst Carl Jung in “A Dangerous Method”, then a sex addict in “Shame” - How do you manage to stay lucid?

Michael Fassbender: Are you sure, that I manage that? (laughs) Everybody’s a little bit crazy. Some people admit it and the others disavow it.

What do you do to recover from work?
MF: I try to read more - and I’m a slow reader. And I ride my motorcycle. Nowadays traveling mostly means getting onto a plane somewhere on earth and getting “spat out” somewhere else - On a motorcycle you have to struggle through each mile. I find that somehow therapeutic.

Do you feel grown-up as a 34-year-old?
MF: I think life is about discovering things and trying things out. If you’re committed to it, you’re also allowed to be a little bit immature.

(Interview by S. Orlin, TV Spielfilm 6/12)

You guys are amazing, where do you get these clips?

Yes, that Angel movie was so bad...no...no chemistry. But how awful for those actors in that kissing scene. The director just stands there yelling OTHER SIDE! OTHER SIDE! As soon as he yells cut they jump away from each other. HAHAHAHA. I guess it's true that those scenes aren't really romantic at all in the moment.

I don't believe for 1 second that he only smokes 7 a day. I remember some of the Ebayers at the Shame premiere mentioning that Fassy has bad nicotine stains on his fingers. You don't get those from smoking just a few ciggies (with filter).

I also don't believe that he watched Shame with his mum in Ireland. NFW!
