For me, the one turn-off is horrible spelling. I don't know why, it just is. Well, that and chain-smoking. Fassbender and I were not meant to meet :) I can now see him as a mere mortal, hurrah (it was getting problematic otherwise)!

I agree. They were probably too busy to go to industry events together in London due to the hectic shoot schedule or perhaps it's simply not their scene. Weren't Zoe, Michael, Jennifer and Nicholas hanging out at each other's places?

Not sure if Zoe lived with him that whole time, because she rented a place in Notting Hil. She mentioned that in the interview with ASOS magazine.

And you guys are really overestimating Michael's fame in the UK. He's well known in the film industry, but outside of the industry he's still not a big name. He's only become more famous after Xmen. Hunger didn't do a lot of business at the box office in the UK and his part in Inglorious Bastards wasn't that big. He's only been blowing up towards the 2nd half of 2011.

Coincidentally there is a massive picture of Fassy and Carey in tonights Evening Standard from yesterday's event. Most of the article is about Carey and The Artist and only towards the end of the article Michael is mentioned. He's the one who won the bloody award, not Carey!!

Most of Zoe's previous films were never released here. She was only known as the daughter of Lenny and a fashion It-girl before Xmen.

You're forgetting that the Vogue journo isn't just anyone. She's Jo Ellison and she's married to Enda Walsh who wrote Hunger. She mentioned in the interview that they met before at an award ceremony. That might explain why he would let come over to his place. And she would obviously recognize Zoe, because Zoe has been a model for Vera Wang and Alexander Wang. Pretty big names in the Fashion industry.

This is the same idiot who interviewed Steve McQueen and Abi Morgan last week. He was horrible and he was ****ing Steve off with his super long questions. Seriously, he was talking more than the people he was supposed to interview. Really annoying!
I'm so ****ed that I missed it. Boohoo.

Ha! This is hilarious but sad. Again, poor Michael. Um...the only excuse that I could possibly think of is that he's under a lot of stress. LOL! Penny, I'm sure you would give him some fabulous grammar lessons.... :lolots:
