She's actually pretty good. It's just not my cuppa. Too bland. She also does gigs in LA and NY. Very pretty girl.

I think you're right. It wasn't the Venice FF, but the Cannes FF in 2008.

Zoe and Michael were pretty stealth about their relaysh (not like anyone was that interested at the time) There was one story about them making out at some bar and then that interview he did where she popped up. Then she arrived at the Jane Eyre premiere.

By the way, I guess this is kind of crazy but I was like, MASSIVELY turned on by the fact that Michael would have sex with Zoe in Toronto, knowing that she was already seeing another dude. And in the photo of the two of them getting caught leaving his hotel the next morning (the one where she tries to cover up her face), he's got a look like, "yep! I did her. 'cause that's what I do." :laugh: Like, she wanted it to be all clandestine but he was like, "hey, penn, I f*cked your girl. 'cause she wanted it. so much that she came all the way to toronto to get it. i'm michael fassbender, by the way." Lol... I don't know... that just kinda turned me on. :graucho: :laugh:

Ugh, yeah, I hate those ebayers. Someone's gonna have to school him on that.

Also, Penny, yeah, that second pic is of them in Toronto and the last pic is of them looking homeless in NYC while having lunch with her ex. I forgot about the one where he photo bombs her, though (where he's wearing the hat from simone). Yeah, I guess they were pretty stealth with their relationship. It's a lot easier to be that way in NYC than in L.A. Having lived there before I moved out here, I know how easy it is to just do your thing and not have anyone care or even notice.

Maybe she dressed to impress him in public. I'm sure all of us are guilty of that. Apparently Penn has been dressing worse since he started dating Zoe. Tragic Hipsters, gotta luv 'em.

I've always thought it was very strange how few gossip blogs picked up the original ROC story. And only a few internet outlets are picking it up now. She definitely has a contact at NYDNews. But he's nearing the A-list now. One would think that the rabid press (especially the nasty British press) would run with this. But nothing. I do find that odd.

Well, someone else met both of them separately (Fassbender & Andrews) and posted about it on lipstickalley.com a while ago:
"Michael is fine as hell and truly a nice guy. I got a chance to meet him (in late 2008 -- a later post precises this date) at an after party and yes the man is into the dark meat. An equal opportunity player w/ a dirty sense of humor. When he flirts w/ you it's kind of hard not to get pulled into whatever he's throwing cause he stares you deep in the eye and it's hard to get away. It's so sexy and I want to kick myself for not doing what I wanted to do.

I've honestly yet to come across a firsthand account that paints him as anything less than polite. They're either all effusive, or positive (and some point out that he's an unabashed flirt, haha!). And I've yet to come across a firsthand account that talks nicely about her. The mystery thickens...

Just got this in my inbox. Not going to publish on my blog:

So I work at fashion pr company, and today Fassy's name popped up. I listened in and he just fired his stylist because Fassy wasn't too happy with him, also named Michael. That's not the best part, apparently Fassy was supposed to go to some premiere/event last night in NY, but his publicist got wind of the rumor of him getting back together with his ex and was so upset, he flew back to London immediately. His stylist's assistant was actually sent away with the suit he was supposed to wear.
