I have huge issues with that website. Not because of Fassy BTW. It's a bunch of middle-aged women, sitting at home, reading tabloids and mags and b**ching about celebs they don't like. Occasionally there's a post about someone they do like.

I don't mind making fun of celebs, after all they chose to live in public eye. However, I have a problem when so-called writers make a lot of assumptions and put them out as truth while their only source of information is 2nd tier tabloid. It p*sses me off because seriously there are people out there who take their articles and stories for real.

BTW I think Kaiser addressed ROC issues at Pajiba. I saw one of articles over there, not about Fassbender, and it left bad taste in my mouth. I was like, ScarJo is not the cause of your problems.

HEAR HEAR, the whole post!! What I find ****ing despicable is when they have an inoffensive punching bag (Rooney Mara, January Jones... basically all these smug lambs) and it's just a barrage of fickle hits that fuels their readership into a frenzy. It's basically anonymous primary school mindset in a cannibalistic Lord of the Flies setting.

I think SM/BDSM (especially B) would only enhance the legend.

It would enhance the legend if the tape was with anyone else but ROC. With her filing RO against him, after seeing Michael in S role, some people are dumb enough to think he could have done everything what ROC accused him off. BDSM and SM are still seen as something freaky so people participating in such activities must be freaks as well. SMH

so confusing, even if you thought it was subpar, how was the feel of the movie? I saw Contagion the other day, and I think I just really like the Soderbergh filming style, editing, choice of music that is also prevalent in his older work. If it has that same trademark atmosphere in Haywire, but adapted for a blaxploitation-like actioner, I'll go for it.

The tone is inconsistent, there are times when SS is trying to have her be a terse badass, and times when he wants it to be a little James Bond (cue Fassbender) and the chase stuff in Dublin looks a little Bourne-y and little like Ronin but isn't as good as either. The scenes in New Mexico are dumb and none of it really has any tension. It's just blah blah, she fights someone, blah blah, she kicks someone in the head.

What was really odd was that while I was watching it i kept thinking the music was intrusive and annoying and in the Q & A Soderbergh was patting himself on the back for not having it be intrusive. There is no music during the fight sequences but it's the only thing that gives the film any propulsion the rest of the time.

I thought that was cool, it made the fights seem more brutal and real, I just thought he let the music cover for a lack of coherance in a lot of the rest of it. maybe everyone else will disagree though.

He's not Sandra Bullock, and ROC has plenty of pics on the web to refute any claims of extreme wholesomeness surrendered under duress. I think a lot of people would just figure she forgot her safe word.

The NY Daily News is pretty reliable and I don't see why they would lie about this (and the locations and events are correct) they must have been reliable witnesses or they wouldn't even publish the story.
If they really hooked up then yeah he's definitely an idiot and people are going to believe her little story even more, it's a bad PR move.

Remember when witnesses said that he hooked up/making out with Zoe Kravitz in Toronto (TIFF) at an after party and she tried to hide her face the morning after, so it's not the first time this kind of behavior happened.

I know I'm a little late to the discussion, but I'm gonna add my two cents anyway.

Ok, before I start I just wanna say that I'm assuming you mean the abuse allegations when you say *her story*. If not, I apologize! lol Anyway...

Don't you think that if they did hook up it would maybe discredit her story a little? I mean, this is a woman who feared for her life and put a restraining order against him (allegedly), and now two years later is hooking up with him? Then again, this might fuel the argument that she's just one of those women who seem caught in a cycle of abusive boyfriends.

Sorry if my train of thought is a bit confusing, but this whole story is confusing to me. I personally believe in the *innocent until proven guilty* idea, and since I don't know him at all, I don't feel comfortable speculating if he is capable or not of doing this (if you've ever been on tumblr or ontd you've seen these debates). Although I gotta say, I always found it intriguing that this story basically comes from one source (TMZ) and one source only. And that it hadn't been seriously dug up during all this *Michael Fassbender has exploded on the Hollywood scene* bonanza we've been seeing since the Venice Film Festival.

I only just now caught onto the fact that there might or might not be a project brewing with Scorsese (THR). Who thinks it's about the jesuit priest project involving Day-Lewis and Del Toro? Would be swell.

And another interesting factoid for those who follow his career arc: he read for something in October in while in New York but didn't get the part; someone else did. Didn't give a hint to Collider's Weintraub on what that failed audition was either, so any bets? I don't think it's Aronofsky's project because that casting rumour made it seem like he was specifically courting Fassbender (offer vs audition).

Interesting factoid, where did you hear this? I have no idea what movie this is, but "failed auditions" reminds me of "Leap Year". Thank goodness MF didn't get the part. I generally watch romantic comedies with a lower expectation level, but that one looked like it didn't even try.

I had the feeling that SS was playing the Ocean's Eleven soundtrack to this film. It all sounded so familiar.

Anyhoo, I liked Gina. Her acting sucked but at least she was a lot more convincing than Zoe Saldana. I found her bad-*** act entirely unconvincing in Colombiana and Zoe is normally pretty good.

Poor Artica who unknowingly spent money on it! Yeah, Penny this is why it's almost comical. It's such a ****ing sloppy job, she should be stripped of her cray cray title. Not even worthy of that!

Btw, I love how they called her an actress, cuz she only has one line.
Of course IMDB is the first website you go to if you're a reporter and you want to know more info about an 'actress'. And lo and behold, all of a sudden there are lots of pics online of her with Fassy, Bender and Howard. Pretty clever don't you think?
