Rats.... *shudder*. I'll always associate them with that ghastly Crispin Glover movie. And funnily enough, my mighty nana who scares anyone and everyone isn't intimidated by anything in this world... except for rats.

But awww, you made me picture a shaking Stuart Little-like character and indeed, poor rat!

This was a young rat , looked cute.
I do not like the big fat ones either.

I had read on Twitter that Michael had just given his speech and was on his way out. Literally right after I read that, I look up from my phone and he's speeding (and I mean SPEEDING - the man is FAST) out the lobby doors to get into his chauffeured car. So I jump out of my chair, race across the lobby, dodging guests and probably looking like I stole something, then calmly walked out the doors and THERE HE FREAKING WAS!!!

Aaaaand... I turned to stone. He'd stopped to take some pics with a couple of people and sign some autographs but was visibly in a hurry. Aaaand... I just stood there. Like a statue. Lol. From the moment I saw him until he got into his car, maybe 15 seconds went by. That's how quickly it went.

He has this strange effect on some women

[Michael’s Playlist on Nemone @bbc6music]

The Rolling Stones – Let It Loose
The Rolling Stones – Gimme Shelter
Slayer – Raining Blood
ACDC – Long Way To The Top
Grace Jones – Pull Up To The Bumper
Le Chic – I Want Your Love
Marvin Gaye – Sexual Healing

Again great playlist and taste in music but he definitely has a thing for dirty and suggestive songs.
My favorite Marvin Gaye song would be "Let's get it on" though :graucho:
That whole song is an ode to Michael's hotness

I've been really tryin', baby
Tryin' to hold back this feelin' for so long
And if you feel like I feel, baby
Then come on, oh, come on
Whoo, let's get it on
Ah, babe, let's get it on
Let's love, baby
Let's get it on, sugar
Let's get it on
Whoo-ooh-ooh

We're all sensitive people
With so much to give
Understand me, sugar
Since we got to be
Let's live
I love you
[Michael]
Stop beatin' 'round the bush

He has this strange effect on some women

Keira's publicist (or part of her publicity team) posts sometimes on another fashion forum I check out at times, and having met Fassbender at Venice and the BIFAs, she's quite fond of him from her interactions with him. I'll try to find some of the bits --mind you, it's a mash-up of different posts--:

"I've just got in from the BIFA's. We were on the table next to team Shame. I've spent a bit of time with the Fass when I was involved with all Keira's Dangerous Method stuff but honestly I was quite surprised he even remembered who I was, let alone gave me a big hug (one of many tonight, it was a huggy room!) extra points for the fact he came to me and not vice versa. He is such a sweetheart and his acceptance speech was so lovely, I don't often get fan girlie but I'm always right on the edge with him. There wasn't a woman in the room not a little bit excited to see him there (and Bradley Cooper, equally charming and delicious btw), it was quite funny to see a sort of mass swoon sweep across the room when he arrived! forums.thefashionspot.com/images/smilies/lol.gif He does have this extra ordinary allure about him, it's very strange, just really charismatic I guess and he looked great, but you've seen the photos. I hope that made sense, it's late and there was a quantity of red wine consumed tonight! forums.thefashionspot.com/images/smilies/lol.gif"

"I narrowly missed out on being the filling in a Fassbender and Cumberbatch sandwich last night which would have been fun. I find myself flirting outrageously, it's terrible (I have my own blue eyed actor type at home!) Honestly, I'm very tough about the people I meet in this industry, I've got no time for bull and ego's and I tell it like it is but he's really darling, hopefully or paths will cross through the awards season. I agree, I love his hair the way it is at the moment. I sort of loved the Prometheus blonde too though! I also love how he does the suit thing but ditches the tie, though he'll look fab in an tux come Oscar night (xfingers). I hope he goes for a dark blue though, that and the grey always bring out his eyes more."

"I have a few minutes so I thought I'd check in, have a read what you've all been think of my girls. I've seen what Keira's wearing tonight, I think it's stunning but I'll leave it for you to judge later, don't think you'll be disappointed though! For the record, the single most interesting conversation I've had today has been with Fass about his flip-flops! His boat disembarking whilst keeping them on his feet was a sight to behold!" (circa 68e Mostra de Venise)

Penny, how about you, did you get to meet Fassbender behind the scenes bc you're affiliated with MK2?

Penny, how about you, did you get to meet Fassbender behind the scenes bc you're affiliated with MK2?

I'm not affiliated or work with/for MK2 but I know a lot of powerful people in the business and get often invited to Premiere events, private screenings, parties, festivals and stuff.
If I told you about half the people I've met or talked to you wouldn't believe it ;) but I rather stay anonymous so I won't/can't say more.

Am ripping this off someone's Tumblr who nicely transcribed this:

“Sometimes you have unusual choices made by your fellow actors. You never know what they’re gonna do. And I try to you know adapt and overcome whatever situation there is. Well for example in this movie, there is an actor called Michael Fassbender - fine actor. He’s in a lot of movies this year and he plays Carl Jung who’s kinda of you know, his first his student in a way, great friend, and then they kinda in way come apart. The friendship comes apart.

Michael is a very- he’s an Irish actor, fine, fine young actor. Very physical actor. Very fit, he’s always running around doing calisthenics and stuff. And he had a funny thing he’d do and I mean I’ve seen a lot of things but never seen this: before every shot, he had a thing that he’d do ‘cause he wanted to be very like sorta on the verge of leaping at you kinda thing, kinda off balance. So he would jump around on one foot. you know he would get up and he’d just stand there going like that. Sometimes he startes skipping rope. And he wanted to have a lean, angry look, intense stare so he’d cover one eye like that. Seriously! And he would do this for a while. Keira Knightley like I say she is very correct, very proper young English actress and she would just kinda look away and she’d be alright with it. But I didn’t know what to make of it. You can’t see it in the movie but every time I did a scene with him he would be kinda like that, takes his hand away last minute - he’d be kinda cross-eyed lookin’ at me like that kinda mouth breathing and stuff.

There is one scene where we were in a sailboat. That is the one time where I was really worried. And I am sitting on a sailboat and he’s steering the sail and everything and he starts doing this and I am thinking, “He’s gonna put a hole in the bottom of the boat!” It was really scary.
”
— Viggo Mortensen (Late Show with David Letterman)

How hilarious (and loopy)!! Am laughing my head off right now. But maybe theatrics? I recall Cronenberg being asked about Fassbender acting like a pirate and he says he has no idea how Viggo came up with that. Can't recall the specific source but I remember thinking "huh?" at the time when I read it. Nonetheless, I'll pretend it's all 100% true and that he puts on a fake wooden leg and yells "yarrg'' as scene prep.

Add Tupac's "How Do You Want It" to his list if sexully charged songs.

Haha! I'm not gonna lie. I nearly lost it over that one. I mean, that is my favorite Tupac song so when those words came out of his mouth I totally let out a yelp and did a little happy dance (well maybe it was more of a happy 'pole dance' :p but really, how else does one dance to that song?) Aaah! Love that he loves that song.

Oh, and what the hell is Viggo talking about? OMG, I laughed so hard at that. I can't even picture it! Maybe that's why people think you're intense, Michael.

Viggo made him sound like he's some kind of hardcore wacko methodist actor
Knowing Dave I'm pretty sure he'll brought that up again when Michael will come on the show next week...
He better have a good explanation for this one

About 2pac it's my favorite song too (with "California Love") but Michael firstly said he liked "Hit' Em Up" much better and this is one of the most violent song ever written (Shakur insults virtually the entire East Coast scene of rappers). That song is said to have played a big part in exacerbating the East Coast/West Coast hip hop rivalry in the 90's and is due to 2pac’s murder only a few months after its release :biguns:

Biggie remember when I use to let you sleep on the couch
And beg the ***** to let you sleep in the house
Now it's all about Versace
You copied my style
Five shots couldn't drop me
I took it and smiled
Now I'm back to set the record straight
With my A-K
I'm still the thug that you love to hate
Mother-****er I'll Hit 'Em Up

Here's an interview where Michael talks about what kind of hip hop music he likes to hear (Shade 45's studio):

I hope he likes opera too.

Otherwise you can have him.

I like both [old school] rap music AND operas, what's wrong with that? :coolio:
People have a lot of BS stereotypes about rap music (People who listen to rap are dumb or gang members, black people only, like drugs, violence and hoes...) I'm not any of those things and yet I happen to enjoy some rap music from time to time as well as rock music or even some good old Ludwig Van :smile1:

You should listen to some 2pac, Notorious B.I.G., Public Enemy, Nas, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre songs [before judging] it's not as bad as you think
