Thank God I'm not on those pics :rofl: You should have seen all the [fan]girls waiting for him outside that night, some of them were even crying :laugh:
but I thought he was super nice with every one of them taking extra time for pictures and autographs and making jokes !
What striked me during the private party was mostly Nicole's behaviour, she was watching Michael's every move across the room making sure he didn't try the buffet and sticked to her meal only that night :rolleyes:

The fan girls (well actually most of them were older women) at NYFF were hilarious. They weren't a lot but lord knows they were determined to see Fassbender. I didn't go to the after party but I heard Nicole was there as well (and a few other celebs I spotted in the crowd) Hopefully, he'll have another film that will make to one of the film festivals around here.

Heh I'd be really amused by the Cele*****y stories, but er, the writer's lust is getting out of hand so looked for another outlet that was not dominated by tweens fantasizing about seeing him naked in Shame and swearing their frustration about not being of age to do so (probably accompanied by a strong expletive about a lack of online pirated link). God bless them, I was not internet-ctually as forthcoming in my own teenage years!

Ejm: regarding movies -- might I suggest Incendies and Monsieur Lazhar if you've yet to see them? Pretty good in my opinion. Last Life in the Universe (Thai) and Tale of Two Sisters (Korean) are older but sooo good. The last one scared the crap outta me and I've yet to recover, 3 years later.

I would agree, but I think Pattinson deserves a break. He needs to hide in a hole and recuperate from the 4 years of non stop Twilight BS.

You should watch some of these films if you haven't seen them already: A Separation, La Piel Que Habito, Take Shelter, Tyrannosaur, Melancholia, A Prophet, Polisse, The Tree of Life, Le Gamin au vélo, Drive, Beginners, Un été brulant, This Must Be The Place :tup:

Speaking of Aurdrey Tatou- have you seen "Dirty Pretty Things"? It's not a perfect movie but it has some cool London underworld stuff in it and Chiwetel Eljiafor and Sophie Okenedo are in it and are great.

Unrelated but "In Bruges" is really good too, I could see MF doing something with Martin McDonagh some day, hopefully.

'Dirty Pretty Things' was just awful :nogood:
'In Bruges' was hilarious with the midget thing, the suicide note, everything:lolots:
Farrell, Fiennes and Gleeson were awesome in it... I'm waiting for the day where Michael will sign for that kind of dark comedy :D

I'm kind of bummed that Michael and Colin didn't end up doing that movie together (I can only imagine mixing those 2 Irish hurricanes together :nogood:) I took french for 2 years ( and I am part french) so I like watching french films (some are good, some not so much)

Mr Depp is still looking mighty fine for someone reaching 50. He did look horrible in The Tourist, but those days are over. Still, he looks a lot better than Brad Pitt with all his plastic surgery.

I'm not going to judge Nicole's relationship status based on one poster on IMDB's comments about her having a boyfriend. If she indeed had a BF during the time then obviosuly, yeah, girl not cool. However, she could've easily been off the market (or single) at the time. I just don't jump to conclusions so quickly.

I just realized she was with Michael at the GQ party in early November.
