Yes I watched him on that French talk show "Le Grand Journal" in fact I was among the audience that daywhen they pre-recorded it a few days before it finally aired on TV (and I was also at the Premiere's private screening and party the night before so I've seen things that better remain private about the dude's beast within
). I've talked to him and snagged some pictures with Steve and Gaspard too
it was surreal (and Francois Ozon was also there, God I hated that Angel movie so much
) MF is a real flirt when he's interested and a bit drunk and has such mesmerizing eyes
but sadly I didn't end the night in his hotel room (I guess I care too much about my sweetshop and self esteem) but Nicole sure did that night
Anyway, he didn't left the studio happy that day, he didn't liked the questions they asked him (neither did I) he thought it was so dumb and unprofessionaland the host didn't even seem to care or know who he really was at the time (they were oddly more excited when that bloated Depp's face came on the next day
) and damn he couldn't even say his name right calling him "FassbInder" every single time ! Also the old chicks were awkwardly drooling over him and rudely asking him to take his hat off
supposedly to be able to see his pretty eyes or asking him if it was really his peen in the movie :shame: or if he was a sex addict himself. The other guest was an old fart, a boring French TV host, who couldn't seem to keep his mouth shut for more that 5 seconds...
It was all kinds of secondhand embarrassment that day I swear...:lolots:
That's probably why he didn't came back on the show two weeks later to promote A Dangerous Method but Viggo, Vincent and David were there though

Those 2 so-called journalists were horrible! Michael was a really good sport about it, but it was pretty obvious that he wasn't happy. It already started with him being stuck in that car. Poor lad. :shame:

Well, I suppose I'm new as a "poster" but not new to the site and certainly not a new Fassbender fan. As with most message boards, the majority of people read but never post.
Same for me. I've been a big fan of Fassy since his breakout role in 'Hunger' in 2008 and not because he is now the new flavour of the week.
Posting on a thread doesn't mean anything and I recently join this one because people here seem to genuinely love Michael's work and keep up with the latest news about him.
I'm glad other people/fans decided to join us as well

And the Le Journal interview disappointed me greatly. I expected a lot more than they gave me. The chick and the yellow who asked him to take off his hat. I couldn't tell if she was flirting or she was truly wanted to see his eyes

I admit to being a recent fan of Michael's (it was X-Men that did it for me) and I've been lurking on this board for a while now. I guess now I felt like joining in on the conversation. 
RE Talk shows... I hope he does something like Craig Ferguson in the US. They aren't very long interviews, but are always entertaining. James McAvoy went on Ferguson around the time of Last King of Scotland and he wasn't well known to American audiences then. So it might be a good start for Fassbender.
Btw, if you haven't seen McAvoy's interviews with Craig you should definitely look it up on youtube. "The Scottish vaccum of charm"!
Question re that french interview. I don't speak French, but by the answers I could generaly figure out what they were asking. Still... Did they actually ask if it was him who was naked or if it was a body double?? Seriously?? How did they word it?
