Nah it's just people trying to be hip/cool/hipster/arty/different - take your pick. Deep down a lot of them are hoping people will praise them for being so open/ intelletual /artistic for seeing Shame and writing about nudity.:whistle:

 You hit the nail on the head with that one. Well at least the hipsters got their money's worth of 'art'.

The booze and smoking didn't do any good to Depp's pretty face either, he's all bloated and weird looking now it's been years he's dead and buried to me

I know for sure that they definitely hooked up directly from the people of the staff who were working on their promoting tour for Shame's release :coolio:
It was nothing serious but they were having fun for a few months and she didn't seem to care that much about her boyfriend at home at the time if she really had one in the first place :shrugs:
She rode the fassytrain while she still had a shot like any other chick would have :choochoo:

Can you blame the woman for getting some Fassdong? I sure as hell can't. Let's just hope her boyfriend is the forgiving kind, if indeed those rumours were true.

Mr Depp is still looking mighty fine for someone reaching 50. He did look horrible in The Tourist, but those days are over. Still, he looks a lot better than Brad Pitt with all his plastic surgery.

“The role is Michael’s,” he replies, without a moment’s hesitation. “Honestly, he has my blessing and I know the man. I’ve met him a few times and he’s just such a brilliant, brilliant actor with a phenomenal presence. If he’s up for it, I think he’d be a perfect fit for the part. You can see him as 007; he has all the right traits. It’s meant to be, really. I’m also a big fan of his work so I’d happily pass the torch to him.” -Daniel Craig
We've had this discussion before about Fassy taking on Bond. I really really really hope he's not touching Bond with a ten foot pole. He doesn't need it, not to mention the fact that he's too good for it.

Is that the actor Josh Brolin who has interviewed Michael or is it a journo with the same name?

I bought a copy of GQ mag on my home tonight. I see that someone has already beat me to it and scanned the sucker. Oh well.

Yes, it's the actor Josh Brolin and his co-star in Jonah Hex who's leading this interview, it's the basic concept of that magazine, one movie star interviewing another one.

Fassy is currently in England to promote the releases of both Shame and A Dangerous Method but he'll be back to LA on the 15th to attend the Golden Globes ceremony but I don't think he'll have time to attend other screenings and Q&A in America. And he will soon enough begin production on one of the many movies he already signed for (Jarmush, Gleeson and McQueen) until the release of Prometheus next summer.

Fassy's interview in People January issue:

Are you attached?

-At the moment I'm un. Unattached.
*He says quietly as he fidgets in his chair*
[Laughs] - Yeah, exactly!

What's your type?

-I don't know. I just like people who are themselves. People who are engaging, intelligent and sensitive. The important is you've got to love yourself.

Have women who've been seen Shame been reacting to you differently?

-I didn't think of that when I was doing it. If anything it's quite ugly, the places that I'm going.

What will your Mom say when she finally sees it?

-"You need to eat more"!

Thanks for bringing the scans over :flowers:

Interview or should I say a cover story is OK but nothing special. Cele*****y writers , once again, have proved that they LOVE taking quotes out of context and give them their own spin. It used be funny, now it's just sad bordering on pathetic.

ITA. Besides Bond franchise is over IMO. Writers turned Bond, a sophisticated, slick ladies man, into a beefed up British version of Jason Bourne. Guess what i'll rather watch the original than a bad knock off.

However if they ever decide to revamp Bond, I think they should ask people from Spooks for help. They did a pretty good job.

Actually Gleeson and Jarmusch projects fell through completely. If you check Gleeson and Jarmusch IMDb pages, both projects are gone. The only thing Michael has in pre-production is 12 Years A Slave, slated for 2013 release.

Me thinks Michael is going to be in States for final promo push to get Oscar nom. Fox Searchlight already invested a lot and it would be stupid not to capitalize on it in final weeks. That's why he got February cover of Interview. ;) Who knows, if we get really lucky, Michael might even show up on some late night talk shows. :D

Both Gleeson and Jarmush's scripts are not finished yet but I don't think both projects are dead yet... I hope not, it would have been awesome to see Micheal play a vampire with such perfect teeth for the part

I find it very odd that he hasn't made any appearances on a real US talk show (Letterman, Conan, Ferguson, Stewart, Leno, Kimmel...) yet to promote his movies to a bigger audience and have a real shot at the Oscars. Maybe he's a bit shy and doesn't want to expose himself on American TV yet but he'll have to it someday :hrmm:

Carey Mulligan was on Graham Norton last month for Shame :smile1:

I wish Michael was doing the Graham Norton show while in the UK.

ITA! With ADM and Haywire coming out in UK, there's a chance for Michael sitting on Graham's couch :D

Let's hope they're just rewriting scripts. I agree it would be a shame to miss vampire role with such teeth  Though he could try for werewolf as well. :p

You're right - it's odd that Michael hasn't done not even one American late night talk show. it made sense why James McAvoy was doing it during XMFC, him being more famous and with better name recognition. But with Michael being the talk of the town, I don't get why studio still hasn't pushed him in talk show circuit. Does NC-17 may have something to do with it?

I watched the one with Carey. Other guests were Ricky Gervais and Johnny Dep. Poor girl didn't have a chance to say much with these two in attendance.
