I saw a tweet pic of Michael from yesterday and he did look super pale and super tired. Boy def. needs to get some much needed rest. Michael's teeth has always looked that way (even though I think they have gotten slightly better in the past couple of months) that's what happens with all those ciggies. Soft hands, huh :graucho: I always thought Michaelw as probably hitting 5'11. He's not THAT short.

Many thanks! I need to fix that gif and I'll re-post it.

Here's some useless info:

He didn't stink of cigarettes at all, but I didn't smell cologne either.
His teeth are a bit yellow/grey and his hand was very soft.
His head is larger than I remembered from before, but maybe that's because his face was quite close to mine. **schwing**
He also looks very pale at the moment. Man needs a rest and a tan.
Oh and he is def at least 1.80m. I was wearing flats and he was still at least 10 cm taller than me.

Nothing stopping you now BB, just make him give up smoking. ;)

:graucho::D

Congrats! How cool :)

And the SAGs name are tres lame. What a snub. Count on them to try and veer off and shock everyone...

Artica, could I post your pic and story on the blog? Thanks!

Of course you can! I'll put up the pics asap. I tried to make a gif, but it's not working so I need to change the format.

SAG sucks. You would think that fellow actors would appreciate good acting. I guess the man isn't Hollywood enough.

Alright, cute pics of Michael playing the accordian (ignore ROC)

I'm glad we're going to see Michael at least on 1 red carpet during upcoming award. Golden Globes are certainly going to be fun with Ricky Gervais :D

I doubt Michael will win anything. Oscar nomination is very unlikely at this point. Fox has been screening Shame and Academy voters didn't like it at all. Actually they hated it. The same goes for ADM, Drive and Tinker Tailor. I hope I'm wrong and Michael ends up being nominated after all.

BIFA tidbit I got from Michael's thread at Fashion Spot.

I've just got in from the BIFA's. We were on the table next to team Shame. I've spent a bit of time with the Fass when I was involved with all Keira's Dangerous Method stuff but honestly I was quite surprised he even remembered who I was, let alone gave me a big hug (one of many tonight, it was a huggy room!) extra points for the fact he came to me and not vice versa. He is such a sweetheart and his acceptance speech was so lovely, I don't often get fan girlie but I'm always right on the edge with him. There wasn't a woman in the room not a little bit excited to see him there (and Bradley Cooper, equally charming and delicious btw), it was quite funny to see a sort of mass swoon sweep across the room when he arrived! He does have this extra ordinary allure about him, it's very strange, just really charismatic I guess and he looked great, but you've seen the photos.

Another victory in Detroit:

Golden Globes voters weren't the only ones showering "The Artist" with love Thursday.

After the Hollywood Foreign Press Association nominated the film for six Globes came news that it had been voted 2011's best by the Detroit Film Critics Society. The group also honored Michel Hazanavicius, director of the virtually silent black-and-white French work, which is set during the waning days of silent movies. (It opens locally Dec. 23.)

Michael Fassbender and Carey Mulligan of "Shame" were voted best actor and best supporting actress by the Detroiters. Michelle Williams ("My Week with Marilyn") was named best actress; Christopher Plummer ("Beginners") scored as best supporting actor.

I think Michael is building momentum again, so he might make it as far as the Oscars. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Still can't believe SAG. The GG nod just confirms the major F-up they made.

About that tidbit, I recently ran into a former film Prof of mine. She went to the Shame screening at BAFTA and had a little chat with Michael. Even she said that she got a little tongue-tied as soon as he turned to face her. She's in her 40s. Plus she's been producing/writing/directing in the UK and LA for decades.

The man could charm the knickers of a nun. He's pure sex on a stick. :graucho:
