And I think he's using 'sort of' that often because he's nervous. I would believe he uses it mainly in interviews where he's under pressure. I can't imagine he's getting laid when he talks like that to a lady.

^That doesn't make sense at all. If I were with someone at eye level, that would mean both of us would have same height, right? The other person can not be smaller than me unless it's a woman wearing high heels. So whoever wrote that sentence above, made serious logical error.


If Michael were 5'7 tall, he would be on par with James McAvoy ( 5'7 or 170cm according to IMDB) and from all pics it's obvious that Michael is quite taller than James. Also in red carpet pics, Kevin Bacon looks as tall as Fassy and his height is 179cm according to IMDB.

This pic is not very good for height comparisons (raised shoulders) but it will do till I found a better one

My guess is that M's height is 180cm. Few centimeters up or down make no difference.



I suppose people expect to find Fassy taller in real life because he has quite a onscreen presence but photos can be deceiving. For instance, I always thought Cate Blanchett has to be somewhere between 178 and 180cm tall. And it turned out she is 173cm in height like me. I don't see myself as tall person, more like happy medium :D

They cut some of the footage, which is a real shame. We probably would have heard more you-knows and sort of's.

I seem to remember that this interview was recorded early in the morning, so I can't blame the man for not being completely awake yet. Especially after all those parties (with Zoe) in Toronto.

I've read it this morning and have to agree with Sarah that Michael's team should have handled better overlap between TIFF and Venice. Releasing unofficial statement Michael won't be coming at all in Toronto literally hours before ADM premiere, then that he'll come after all is not very professional but worse things happened. Besides that's not Micheal's personal fault, but a fault of his management.

I don't agree with the rest. When it comes to ADM, Michael being present all the time won't convince neither critics nor public that this movie is great because it's not. :cool: Honestly Michael did more than his fair share of promoting ADM. Keira and Viggo pretty much slagged off their parts of promo duties.

As for MMMM, I liked it but in a award season filled with great and excellent movies, this film has no chance of becoming a contender. People from Fox are being smart and pushing films that are most likely to succeed. They're running business, not charity. :p Same thing happened last year with Never Let Me Go. One of the best films in 2010 but it got pushed out by Black Swan and 127 Hours.

2011 National Board of Review Winners

Special awards were announced for Michael Fassbender who earned the group's Spotlight Award for his fantastic work in 2011's A Dangerous Method, Jane Eyre, Shame, and X-Men: First Class.

I'm a bit suprised that Hugo won the award for best picture. Quite a few UK critics have given the film an average/low rating.

So someone sent me this over at FassbendertheGinger. Once again all hearsay:


Michael is actually dating his co-star Nicole Beharie, he left Zöe for her. That’s an inside info from the Paris Premiere staff, they had to book an hotel for both of them and Michael asked them to pay for the plane tickets for her so she could tag along in Paris even if she wasn’t suppose to come. He told them they had to make her come or he wouldn’t show up to the Premiere event. They stayed a week together in Paris. I don’t know if it’s really serious but he referred to her as his girlfriend.

Not the dating Nicole part of course , she is a stunning lady , but it´s so unprofessional to behave like this.

IF it´s true then I am very disappointed in him.

I´ve thought he is an actor not a spoiled & stingy diva.
