This colour is really tempting me! I haven't seen a new Bal colour I liked in ages but can't get this blue/grey out of my head!

The more I use it, the more I love the color!!! At the boutique they only had it with yellow gold hw. Personally I prefer it with silver (mine is from a dept store). I think you'll love the color if you decide to go for it [emoji4]

love it with silver, definitely! do you worry abour colour transfer or the bag getting dirty? the colour is not that light actually... ps does it look as dark as the other picture another tpf'er posted above? that must be a different bag!

The one I posted is also blue acier. I looked at the bag, verified the color and took the pics myself (they're not from a SA). The SA on hand at the store described the bag as a petrol blue which I thought was clever and appropriate... I think the gray in it is gorgeous and versatile. But the lighting is very yellow and very unnatural, which is probably why it photographed so dark. In some of the photos above it looks almost like an ice blue... but I think the lighting there was playing tricks to the lighter side instead of the darker. There is quite a bit of shine on these bags and it can have a whole different effect on the color when bright light catches it. It is an absolutely gorgeous color, and apparently quite a chameleon, but there is def. a fair amount of (beautiful!) gray in it.

there are quite a few more pics of blue acier here: a couple of the shots I took at the store plus stock photos from matchesfashion and neiman marcus on following pages... for the record, the photos I took were from neiman marcus, so you can see how different it looked on the floor compared to their stock photo a few posts down. I would say the stock photo in the last post on the thread below (from neimans) is probably the closest to true.

The bag can definitely look dark grey, just like in that picture, in certain lights, especially indoors. But the blue undertone is still there. I'm not worried about color transfer at all, I wouldn't consider this a light colored bag.

Thank you, thats so interesting!

I just wanted to add a picture of that Blue Acier ME with gold HW that was taken by my BalNY SA (pictured with Gris Taupe). This color is truly unique and the hardware can alter the appearance so much. It's absolutely gorgeous.

the Blue Acier looks really grey in other pics. this pic surprises me of how icy blue it is. i think i need to get into my local boutique for irl experience and 'excuse' ;p

Have you seen it IRL? I love it. As the OP said, it's quite a bit more gray than it looks in the pic. Here's one under different lighting conditions, for your enjoyment ;)

This grey color is called Bleu Acier? I thought Bleu Acier was a very light blue? Is this city new for this season? Just wanted clarity. Gorgeous color!

Hi, its between a blue and grey. I had to get it as it was on a 10% off and I am going to reduce my collection to fund it! I attach a photo below- it looks darker in this light, in real life its a bit lighter and more blue.
