I definitely would like to get ME for my next Bal. But still undecided if I should get ME for Town or Hip. After ME, my future Bal has to be Town/Hip with Giant hardware. Hmm.....decision, decision

Maybe decide on the basis of capacity and versatility: the Town holds much more, plus it looks great hand held (and you can detach the strap and it becomes a satchel).
I'm planning to eventually get both bag. Just can't decide which one should be ME n which one with Giant hardware [emoji16]
I've kinda made up my mind to get Brogues for Bal envelope instead of City because I am reserving my next City to b either from Hamilton or year 2005-2007. But when it comes to ME n Giant HW.....I am so undecided! [emoji20]

Absolutely NO question for me: Town in ME, Hip in g12.
The town in ME is a prettier bag than the Town in g12, and it is more versatile. It can dress up or down very easily, whereas the g12 Town is a more casual bag because of the slouchier, more distressed leather.
Just my opinion, but I am not a fan of the miniature bags with ME. The miniature bags (City/Hip) are adorable by their nature, however I feel the ME "crowds the space" and throws off the aesthetic and proportion of the bag. The g12 hardware makes the Hip bags versatile and elegant, while not messing with the proportions.
I have a black hip with ggh. It's the only bag I own with gold hardware, and it is seriously the most versatile bag for day or night. You can wear it with jeans cross body for day, or wear it with a cocktail dress on the shoulder, and it looks perfect either way.

For ME Town n Hip GHW, I plan to get new from store since they r still available. Now I just need luck to find discontinued Brogues Envelope n Hamilton or City from early years, in good condition, colors I like AND reasonable price! Lol

I love this white bag! Being chevre it will wear much better and not suffer colour transfer as much as agneaux. I wish it came with silver hw though

I just wanted to do a wear and tear update on the ME City after using mine consistently for 4 months (got it sometime around mid-May?) 
I literally had to self-check myself to keep me from overusing it! (I really really love it, and now I'm thinking to get a nice black RHW or a rogue cerise??)
(Note: the lighting is a bit yellow, making the gold hardware deeper, it has pale gold HW in actual light)
It's beginning to get that desirable Bal slouch and the leather has become discernably softer! The smell still lingers, but has gone fainter
Eventually, I guess the whip-stitch handles will be the first part of the bag to show the wear and tear, as you can see here, there's already a hint of fraying and yellowing.
