Recently on a subforum Vlad offered a member that he would merge his/her two accounts. I posted there and asked him to merge mine, too, but I never got any reply.
Many years ago I set up my first account but I gave my real name as user name. I couldn't change it and I decided to set up a second account because I didn't want to display my real name every time I posted, for privacy reasons. Would it be possible to merge those two accounts together, please?
To be honest I am not too happy that we cannot change user names because 14 years ago, when I first joined, the internet was a safer place and using own name seemed like a good option. Lots changed since and if it was allowed I would have changed my current user name, too, to make it more anon.
