CS told me via chat that the speedy was sold out nationwide too, even though I was texting with an SA that same day that had one available to purchase. I just wanted to ask the CS chat to see if they’d tell me the truth. Not sure what LV is doing as far as marketing regarding production and availability, but it’s kind of annoying to have them blatantly fib about stock.

It seems they want to keep phone calls and online orders separate from stock purchased in store. If so, why not just tell us? Hermes does this and they are pretty transparent about it.

It looks like they are restructuring their business model, something more like H, and catering to “VIP” customers with special release productions. I miss the days when CS would tell me what was in stock at my nearby store or transfer me directly to a store to get rung up and have my item shipped right then and there. None of the pre-pay for item you haven’t seen that you also may or may not receive in anywhere from 2-6 weeks. [emoji2961]

I’m really curious as to why people are having such different experience with the CS hotline. Maybe it’s just the luck of the draw? When I called in, the multiple CS people I spoke with all told me they can definitely tell me store stock and then call to the store to place the order on hold. The first rep tried calling several times but no one picked up at the store, so I tried again later during open business hours and that CS called several times for me too. When the store said they couldn’t put a limited edition piece on hold the CS made them make an exception for me. I am definitely no VIP.. I buy like 1 piece a year until this catogram collection came out. So ya, I’ve been super impressed with the service I’ve been getting when I call in. And for sure SCP has a speedy because they are holding one for me and I am canceling it since I picked one up in Hawaii.

Anyway, care to share pix of your alma? I’m sure we all want to see more catogram photos!

9B282663-C9BB-44F7-B005-48341DD4BDFB.jpeg I’m relatively new to LV but when I called last week to see about getting a couple of catogram items, CS was great! I fully expected them to tell me they couldn’t help me but everyone I spoke to was so helpful. I was able to order 2 items over the phone - the zcp (noir) and the micro boite chapeau.
Good luck to everyone still looking for their special pieces.

When I talked to my local store, they didn’t have the items I wanted. Called 866 and they found the closest store to me (I wanted it quickly). They called to connect.... and while we were waiting... they were literally selling the zcp. We called the second store and they had it.

I heard the new process (from my store) is that they don’t do store interchanges anymore and they can’t do charge sends. You have to order direct from the store itself.

Pics are in, beautiful! Pure gorgeousness in action! The animals are DEFINITELY raised to sit on top of the original canvas and you can feel it as well. See the last two pics for clarity. Good luck in deciding and hopefully you’re able to get what you want from this collection.

Interesting to hear. I am glad you had a good experience. :smile: I called CS twice and was told the same thing. Sounds like a luck thing, which seems similar to my experience calling cable companies. :lol:

Thanks drspock these pics are definitely gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. Hopefully I can get something from this collection or else it might be from the Xmas animation. Have been eyeing the leopard victorine but not sure how the print will wear and if there are any issues with the button on top opening and closing. Have started a thread but no reviews or comments as yet. Thanks for sharing your little cutie!!

Is the alma a big bag? I can’t find any pics of it worn on the shoulder or by the straps.

IMG_8076.jpg I received the speedy, bandeau and charm yesterday. I got the bandeau and charm for my artsy mm. To revamp it and because every time I use it I always see others carrying an artsy. I also took the clochette off the Speedy. I don’t want anything hitting the paint. I love it all so much!!! The ZCP arrives today. IMG_8084.jpg
