Men's reactions to holding purses

LOL. It's unbelievable how many of you ladies have cool SO's who have no problem holding your purses. I think I'm going to show this thread to the bf so he can understand it isn't so horrible to hold a bag for a few minutes. I think it's sexy when a man doesn't have such hangups and is comfortable with his sense of self.

my DH is lovely, all i have to do is hand him the bag and he'll take it. its weird, sometimes i just want him to hold my bag even when i'm not tired or anything~ it makes me feel pampered. my friend however said that she'll never let her bf hold her bag for her becuase that makes him look feminine/awkward/etc.
My boyfriend is wonderful and will happily hold my handbag for me (he snatches any heavy shopping from me too 
)
A couple of years ago at Thorpe Park I went to the toilets while he was outside with my handbag, a group of kids walked past him standing outside, and they were like "OMG that guy has a handbag!!!

Thats funny! your poor bags must be crushed!
My boyfriend is ok holding my bag for a few mins if im doing something! but if the bag is heavy, he would hold the bag and tells me to hold his hands so it looks like im holding it and hes holding my hand if you know what i mean?!?!?! half the time i end up carrying it myself again as it makes the bag even heavier!
I dont see the big fuss..mean im walking next to him so clearly people knows it my bag..not his!!
he has absolutely no problem with holding my bags. when we were on vacation recently he even wanted to carry my huge miumiu tote because he said it was too heavy for me. so there we were hurrying around the airport with him having my bag hung over his shoulder. he looked so cute! 
I try not to give my bag over to the bf at all, because he won't give it back! he doesn't really hold it like an actual bag, more like he's cradling a baby
he loves going through my loot and always seems surprised at how much my bags contain.

my BF doesn't mind and after an unfortunate incident when I asked him to hold it and he put it on the ground (i was not a happy girl) he now holds it down by his side and if someone walks by he holds it in the hand they can't see....but at least he still holds it and doesn't complain!!
He doesn't care. He is a very secure guy. If it fits on his shoulder, he will put it on his shoulder and pretend like it's his.
Also, if we're in the car and I ask him to get my sunglasses, he puts them on first. He looks so ridiculous in them, it makes me laugh EVERY time.

My bf is so sweet about holding my stuff. When I ask him to hold my purse, he slings it (gently) over his shoulder and walks around like it's no thing. LOL. It looks funny bc he's a boy boy (tall, masculine looks, nice muscles). It cracks me up, but I think it's so cute how comfortable he is with himself and how willing he is to lend me a hand! 
The first time he balked like crazy! But now he doesn't seem to mind, he'll happily hold it when I'm getting stuff out or at the mall when I'm looking at things.
My BF's a sweetheart. He *always* holds my handbags for me, without my ever asking, no matter if that leaves me empty handed. (The exception being, of course, if his hands are already all tied up.)
My boyfriend is really good about holding my purses. I don't even have to ask him! A lot of times, if we are out walking around for a long time and he notices that my purse is getting heavy, he'll just take it from me and hold it! Sometimes he even jokingly models my purses. Forget about love poems and huge gestures of love, this is the ultimate romantic gesture lol!
