I'd do the blue/red one. The all black is sad. I miss the classic Ardoise colour. That is the definitive classy black, when it somes to Taïga. I personally hate Eclipse, I'd choose ANY canvas over it. And like you, I had little to no issues with Taïga SLGs, so I would choose that.

I’ve been eyeing the Avenue Sling Bag. Looking for something that can be used everyday to carry just a few things (phone, wallet, keys etc). I’ve got a the Vassili GM for my work bag but really want something for outside of work. For those of you that have one, how do you like it? Pros/Cons? Anything else that I should consider as an alternative?

Hey guys. Especially @Redenkeew @fabuleux @LVBastille and @BULL keen to know what you think of this. Wanting a leather bag that I can use as day bag, carry on or perhaps an overnighter occasionally. I've heard of others able to fit 2 change of outfits plus a pair of shoes in a 40.
The size is great. I have a Speedy 40 and it’s quite roomy. I think this is a really cool bag.

What a weird handle I have
The Speedy form factor and the size is a winner. I am a Keepall 45 type of guy, but just like @fabuleux I surely will get a Speedy 40.
I am not a fan of the Shadow leather on SLGs, but on large bags it works very well. Just like Taïga, it needs a big stage to play. There is only 1 thing that I don't like about the bag, and that is the handle design. It is very sporty, and I just cannot live without a classic Vuitton toron-handle. But this is personal. So I would say go for it, it's a great bag.
And I agree with @LVBastille, the House should design more Speedies for men.
