This is the Femoir. It is a bit “bowed” after bring squashed in a box for decades, and it didnt look like this before cleaning. I used it for about 4 years, but mainly just for the metro ride from my apartment to my office at Le Defense and back. In 85 I was posted to Australia, to work on the mineral processing and mining market. It REALLY was not the bag to take into a portacabin meeting in an outback mining town so it was put in a box and forgotten about.

I think it looks good enough for a couple more years or going to the office.

This is the Poche. I actually bought this on my company credit card, to carry dyeline engineering drawings around, in the days long before laptops. (Maybe I should give it back).

It did get used in Australia, and in the early years it went back to Paris with me on a regular basis (the French insisted I attend a meeting at Head Office every six weeks)

The zip and side pocket linings have crumbled to dust, leaving just brown cotton linings, but it isnt a problem as they have cleaned up nicely.

Now a Macbook air slides in no problem.

And finally, this is the bag I had been using, Ralph Lauren Polo, purchased from David Jones a couple of years ago. Lovely soft leather but WAY too heavy.

I am not sure what I do with this now.

@captaincustard Thanks for posting the photos of your Taiga, document holder and Fermoir. They cleaned up nicely and look great. Sadly I have no similar forgotten treasures in my closet.

Got myself the Alpha Clutch and the size is just perfect for me. The Kasai clutch looked too much like a toiletry bag although the macassar option was quite beautiful. Excited to use the clutch this evening.

I have the Kasai and it’s pretty big and boxy. This is a much better size!

I am new here and joined this forum mainly because of my two LV products (Robusto1 monogram and the folio monogram)
Are there special threads/underforums for those articles and does anyone know whether there is a full catalogue or product list of Louis Vuitton with all the products/models listed ?

My husband has a catalogue from 2000 that has illustrations with size options and dimensions. It's so interesting to look at from time to time because the entire booklet looks so chic with French/English dimensions and pricing in each type of canvas or leather. Of course, prices have increased a lot since then or bag names have been recycled or discontinued very often also. @Redenkeew is right about the website being the current catalogue. And of course TPF is a great source for upcoming collections as well!

The choice of orange for this entire collection has to do with honoring gun violence victims.

Personally, I don’t care for Taïga leather for wallets. I don’t think it ages well (especially corner wear). I prefer SLGs in canvas. So my vote goes to Monogram Eclipse.

Oh! Don’t them? That’s a very good point to consider.
My PO in damier graphite seems new, after almost 7 years of heavy use. Just a few issues with glazing, but its canvas is perfect.

I’d like something different from my passport holder in Eclipse! Or it’s an excuse to pair with a Keepall 45 and make a good travel trio.

Any clues?
