Uhm, I hope you guys don't mind the double post. I tried editing my earlier post but I couldn't anymore; I guess there's a time limit. So yeah, here are my thoughts on the Messenger PM Voyager (VPM):

1) For its size, it carries a lot. - I'm used to a District PM (DPM), so "a lot" is subjective. But to give you an idea, the DPM, when you put the straps inside, fits perfectly inside the VPM lol.

2) I love the buckle / clasp closure. - I don't like putting anything in my pockets so I constantly reach into my bag (read: phone), and so zip closures are a no go for me. The way the VPM's flap is designed lets you leave the buckles unclasped and it'll still be "closed".

I just don't like how I can't close it as fast as the DPM's magnetic closure; you sorta have to maneuver the VPM's flap into place. But yeah, you can still put it behind you while you're seated at a restaurant and fumble around at the contents without looking at it.

3) It looks hella good! - I've always bought into LV pieces that I've found to be practical and / or unique in its layout and use; again, this is subjective, but this is the first time I got something from them just because I thought it looks awesome!

I have a few more things in mind, but they're not really a big deal, and I didn't want this post to get too long, let me know if you have speficic questions about it.

Cool design. If it was available in Macassar, I would have consider a purchase :)

True, I think I'd go for it still if it were in Macassar, but more so in Monogram. Might actually be my first Monogram piece, if ever. Just coz I'd like to see how all that leather patinas

Would not want it in any of the Damier prints.

Alright gents, so I need an honest opinion. What are the thoughts of rocking a Speedy as an every day men's bag? I have a PDJ and a Dayton MM but sometimes I find that I need *more* space.

I have a Carryall that I LOVE to travel with but it's too big for day to day so my mind gravitated towards a Mon Mono Speedy that I can throw things in and go. Yes, no, own it?

Thanks for your opinions and enabling!

Not a fan of guys with speedys. If you need space, I would go for a PDV gm, Keepall 45, or a Tote. But this is just my personal opinion :)

I have a Carryall too and intended to use it on a daily basis but you are right: it's too big for that.

In general, I don't think the Speedy looks particularly good on dudes. The Speedy 40 might work. In fact, I am considering one as a gym bag.

+1 that I think guys with speedys do not look good.

There are other bags from LV + other brands that you could use.

I use the Start PM. IMG_0766.JPG
It's smaller than the Keepall 45 with a lot more pockets + functional.

TAZ...when you have some time, would you snap a few pics of the inside of the blue duffle?? What kind of lining is it? Is it fairly scratch resistant? Thank you!!
