Although I do agree the blue combo looks nice on the DG, I have to say I am not a fan of this line. Kim should have just left it at the last Nemeth line to which I am the biggest fan and own all the essentials. (Will post a pic of my collection next week) These large prints/colors seem a tad tacky to me. Not sure how I would feel carrying these colors around on large goods. Anyhow to each his/her own opinion.

Agree. I don't like Damier and I was tired of Nemeth robe print by the end of last Fall season.

hi gentlemen! can anyone tell me how LV men's shoe sizing runs? my husband usually wears a 10 US, but in Bottega Veneta sneakers he wears a 42 which is the equivalent of a US 9. does LV run similar to BV?

Shoes Size run different depending on the shape and style. I own many Louis Vuitton shoes and each are different sizes. With this being said, if he wear 42 you might want to start with Louis Vuitton Size 8. Again it's all about the style. I wear Louis Vuitton 8 but some are 7.5.

Hey guys! Just got into the Monogram Eclipse collection

I'm more a Damier Ebene guy, but I really wanted to get something in Monogram, but the Macassar pieces aren't really doing it for me. So when I saw that LV was coming out with the ME, I was crazy over it!

Just a few things I noticed:

1) The rubberized leather - I'm not sure how it wears since it's only been a few weeks. Scratch wise, I've rubbed it against a few things, and I've just wiped off what I thought were permanent scratches. Nothing too deep though, so that may be a different story. The leather does show sweat and finger prints REALLY easily, but you could just wipe them off with a wet cloth as well, no problem.

2) Fashion show piece - All of them do come with a booklet that says they're fashion show pieces, but only the ones marked as seasonal get that distinction on the leather stamping as well. The others just have the normal, "Louis Vuitton made in *country*" marking.

3) The hardware - I looove the black-silver color; it's just so perfect against the backdrop of the ME canvas. Just like the leather, the hardware does show finger prints really easily, but wiping a clean finger across it removes the prints. It's the same with other LV hardware, just a little more noticeable because of the color choice here.

4) Do realize that I am nitpicking. You can't even see what I'm talking about unless you look at the bag from inches away haha.

5) I absolutely love this line!! Pics don't do the canvas justice!!

P.S. I super love the fact that you can attach the Box Clutch to the Keepall. Posting pic.

When I first saw ME I thought, 'Nice, much more subtle than traditional monogram.'
But that thought did not last. It is almost as 'obvious'. I prefer Damier - and especially Infini.


Disregarding being subtle! Is Damier Geant completely discontinued?
I have to confess to having a v useful noir DG Messenger MM.

Sure! Here are shots from several angles.

It has four card slots, a pocket above that, and two roomier pockets on the left. To give you an idea of what fits, here's a pic with my four key holder, a lighter poking behind that, my passport, a pack of ciggs, and my sunglasses; you can easily put more things in still, a key fob, etc. Fits an iPhone 6 Plus, no problem.

There's only one zipper pull as opposed to the two that's been pictured before, and the zipper does not go all the way around the piece (a good thing). The stud that holds the strap in place has Louis Vuitton engraved into it. You can pull the strap off completely, or loop it around something else like the Keepall's handles. Dangling it on two fingers is my fave way of carrying it! Hth!

I have the new pochette voyage and pocket organizer in ME and would like a cles for my keys. Just wondering if they coordinate well together.

The tones between Monogram Eclipse and Damier Graphite are slightly different; I think ME has a slightly blue to purple undertone, but I could be wrong.

As for coordinating them, they're in the same color family so it should be ok, unless the slight difference in shade really bothers you. Here's a thought: if you were ok with mixing Monogram and Damier Ebene before, then you probably would be ok with mixing ME and DG too, both print and color wise. Personally, I'm really matchy matchy, so I can only stand mixing either prints with black Epi.

It's a fashion show piece, and the SA told me that there are 16 pieces here in the US, so you might want to reserve it if you're interested. I saw one in NY Fifth Ave last month, I got the one in Vegas, and I saw another one here in SFO.

If you've ever tried a District PM, it feels almost the same in terms of usage, but of course it's a completely different animal. I'll post pictures, a comparison, and my opinion on it when I get back to my hotel; just out and about right now
