MCM was purchased by a Korean business women recently and is now wholely owned by Korea company, even though the design is still based in Germany. Apparently (so I heard) buying MCM in South Korea is the cheapest!

oh i didn't know that! i just came from south korea last month and MCM is doing very well there. they even have the boutique in the incheon airport.

i think it's very classic. my mom's a fan since those are her initials, and she bought a cute mini speedy-style bag with a long strap a few years ago at the incheon airport during a stopover. should remember to take a photo!

if i had extra cash, i would definitely buy one!

I haven't seen MCM around for so long! I had a round coin purse, white with black monograms. It was a present from a long time ago and I'm somewhat pleasantly surprised to see that they still carry a similar line in the Heritage series.

Hi rabbits,

Can I ask, is there a reason you don't want to use Wardow? They ship worldwide for 25 euros (DHL), and, in my experience, their customer service is excellent. I've bought around 8 or 9 items from Wardow and have never found the same item cheaper elsewhere. The last two bags I bought from them were boxed by the manufacturer, but Wardow had double-boxed them so I got this MASSIVE box delivered, and all for 5 Euros (Im in UK).

I'd recommend Wardow in a heartbeat.

Oh nothing against Wardow - though on re-reading I realise it might have come out that way! :)

There are a couple of items I saw on the MCM website that aren't carried on Wardow hence the question. Your input on Wardow was very helpful though - they do carry a very wide range of European brands, and I may make a future purchase from them.
