Scarves Maxi twilly, Maxi Happiness!

I was told by my SA next season H will come out with maxi twilly in Brides de Gala design.

Ok, so they went with one classic. I wonder what the other will be.

Okay. I just posted this in the Hermès knotting app thread - yes, there is a new app be Hermès about scarf tying. They do include all formats. In the app there is a maxi twilly video - featuring cws that have not been released. I spotted a dark blue Cavalcadour and a turquoise Brazil. Gorgeous!!!

I would pick a linear design and a busy design - Tohu Bohu, or Concours and something busy like Jardin d'Armenie or Arbre de Vie -
Although a Kermit Oliver design or one of the classics (they like bringing back Quadrige frequently) would also be nice.

I was told there will be a KO design for SS.

I've joined the the club!

I went in to see the black Cavalcadour but they had none in stock. I did play around with the others they had and it came down to the orange Brazil design and the one I got below. I was surprised at how much I liked the orange one but the one I bought was fabulous. the store had it wrapped as a belt on a mannequin and it looks amazing against black clothes.

The SA did say they would be getting more stock due to the maxi twilly's popularity.

For any Sydneysiders, here's what was in stock today when I went:
- Cavalcadour in turquoise, orange, red and bordeaux
- Brazil in orange, red, grey/pink. None for sale but one of the SAs had a gorgeous green colour. The official colour is menthol/khaki/fuschia.

I can't wait until I get myself a maxi.....so beautiful and versatile....I love Hermes silk (and leather).

Yes! My suggestion would be to buy what you love now. I know from experience that when I wait to buy, I can say bye bye.

It's arguably their most iconic design, I'm pretty sure it's been the most frequently issued. So I'm not exactly surprised, and if they're doing a KO, they have to balance it with a classic (which I sort-of guessed yesterday).

I was tempted by this one too - love the colours but opted for a Brazil (couldn't do both) Congrats!

Hubby got me this one at the duty free in Zurich, the SA said they could only sell him 1. He rolled his eyes at her, lol. I also purchased brazil in the orange cw.

It's funny, but Brides de Gala and (don't hate me) Ex Libris do absolutely nothing for me; still, they are H classics and widely loved. Some of the riffs on these designs have been enjoyable, but I don't have any interest in owning endless iterations of either. But, to each his/her own!

I would LOVE Arbre de Vie! A smaller print like Belles Mexique would be really cute, too! For KO, the ledger art border from Pani would make a great Maxi Twilly. So many wishes.....

This is good to know! I don't have any BdG scarves. I would go for one of these in a "less than traditional" colorway.
