This is so nice on you Ladybaga. In your opinion, do you think this colourway would complement Capucine? I have the canard c/w on the way, but also just purchased a KDT in Capucine swift, and am looking for something else to wear it with.

You look smashing and are the best advertisement for this color way. The red is so vibrant and I love the pink and camel with it. Ban Shman! I could never put myself on a ban (Hi, I am Maedi and I am weak), usually, my limited financial resources are ban enough :p
And booohoooohoooo, I don't have a Maxi twilly yet. The color I wanted didn't come to my boutique yet and I missed out on the h.com site while it was still there - now they are down to one.

Such a good point. I cannot wait to receive mine to compare laser to screen printing. The feathers on Brazil look amazing on computer.

In fact, ladies who have maxi twillies, what are your thoughts about the quality of design? It would be especially interesting to the same design in a 90 and maxi. And another thing, are regular twillies screen printed??

Glad I left the 2 red ones in store for you to have choice of--looks lovely on you! I was disappointed that they did not have a green Brazil, but i was able to make up for it with an orange Cavalcadour over the weekend :smile1:

Thank you Toronto Carre! I think a Capucine KDT would look great with this colorway of Cavalcadour!!! I am wearing a RC rivale ghw in my picture, and while it complements the maxi twilly, it is not a perfect match. The RC is a bit "cooler" red than the brilliance of Capucine. The canard cw is so pretty! I chose the red since my 90 silk Cavalcadour from last year is canard. I look forward to your mod pics!!!

Maedi, you are too kind! Thank you! I read further in the thread that you are waiting for the same colorway of Brazil as Israeli_Flava's. That is a beauty!!! I am sure it will come back on H.com! As far as bans go, I am glad I am not the only weak one here. :D

Hi Lisa!! Yes, I did a comparison with my other two 90cm Cavalcadours and made this observation: the print looks flat compared to the more three dimension look of the 90s. (Does that make sense?) However, I think the colors in the maxi twilly are still very rich and saturated. Hope that helps. (My two Cavalcadour are the canard version cw 38 and the noir, anthracite,vert cw 47).

oh LB, u look great in this red Cal. I was originally choosing between this & the Bordeaux one. Finally got the Bordeaux one. Slightly remorseful now seeing how well it looks on u! But then I comforted mysrlf that I don't exactly have your waist!

D Lee, You are so sweet!!! Thank you! The Bordeaux is so luxurious! (also the color for this fall season!!). I know you will get so much wear out of that one! It is so hard to decide, but lucky for me, my boutique had the red which was my first choice. I really LOVE your black Brazil! That was another one that caught my eye but I have to stop the maxi twilly madness somewhere, right? So glad we have your pretty picture to look at! :D Since you and I live in climates that are warm, this is such a nice alternative to a standard sized silk.
