Just note that the pictures posted by the seller is not how the pink looks, at least from other pictures posted here in this thread (Wendy's gorgeous photos). Hi there! My personal opinion is that the Small is a little smaller in look than the Bal City but might hold a similar amount due to the different structures. In actual size, I would say it's in between a First and a City. It can hold way more than a First though. Hope that helps

So the Small Marco is like the Balenciaga Town?

And the Medium Marco is then closer to - and slightly bigger than Balenciaga's Maxi Twiggy (close to the Balenciaga Velo)?

It looks good to me as well. I bought my lime green MT from ****** and it looks exactly like that...tags and all.

Anna_525, I do feel that the pink is a little bit different from the one on Wendy's photos but I think it's because of the lighting. Maybe the seller didn't capture the true color since the picture is not taken in natural light (which most of Wendy's photos were taken at). I'll post modeling pics if I pink baby is already mine!! wish me luck!

I ordered from ******: it was posted on 24 May, but I still don't have it - don't know where on earth it is, as the tracking only says it has left the US... and there's nothing else to be heard! At the time the Tan GH was only available in Medium, so I went for that.

Thank you for clarifying that the Med is close to Bal's Maxi Twiggy, too - great help!

I'm glad I've bought the Marco Tag Med GH in Tan, as the Maxi Twiggy I ordered in Orange Brule is no longer being produced - or rather, Bal canned its production. However, I will be much happier once I actually have it in my hands.

Maybe try AA to see if they have the Small in the colour and Hardware you seek, or ask Erica if she's going to order it in the near future?

hi Sky, good to see u here. Some of us had some secret sidetrucking, SHhhh.... that's between us. Anyway, TaN GHW sounds nice, where did you order from? Is it available in SMALL? I have the Small Black SHW & it's a good size for me foe my petite size, i love it so much. If you like the Maxi Twiggy, i think the Medium MT is comparable. Please post some pics of your Tan MT when you get it. I want the Taupe/Tan w/ GHW in Small but E doesnt carry it.

I thought I'd pop in and say that I have to agree with some of the other ladies here that the MT's are way overpriced for the quality. I ordered the medium pink GHW, and the handles were different colors, and the bag was dyed inconsistently all over. The leather was super thin as well. Overall, these bags should be NO MORE than $200 - $250 at the most. I returned mine. This is just my opinion based on my experience.

Wanted to add my 5c, yes i do agree that MT purses are overpriced,
A fair price for a medium would be $250 - 300 IMHO,
people like them because MK wore it and it looks like a birkin.
But quality wise I think even Juicy Couture handbags are of better quality.

I do agree that they are a little over priced, but I actually bought a MT because I like the style and the soft slouchness, not because of MK or because it looks like a birkin.
Birkins are very structured and if I wanted a Birkin I could buy a birkin.

I agree. I actually hate MK's MT since the handles are REALLY long and look so awkward on that bag, lol. I bought mine because I loved the color and style.




....But, they're still overpriced!

Well, I hope when my Tan one arrives, I won't be overly disappointed. I bought mine in the event that the Tan/Orange Brule Balenciaga was never released (as has unfortunately happened). So, quality-wise, what I seem to be hearing is that I shouldn't think of the tan Marco as a replacement for the tan Bal, but as completely different bag.

Sky, just to clarify...I don't know anything about juicy bags. I think someone else made that comment. I only said that I loved my MT bag because I like the style. IMO, I think you will love your tan MT and I can't wait to see your pics!

Thanks for the support lovemymarc, If we think about it, all of the designer bags are overpriced...you have to pay for luxury! I own Chanel bags that are $4000 and they are very nice, but I know that it did not cost that much to make! I use to be a buyer for a major dept store and mark ups are unbelievable. Bottom line . . . MT is a good bag and there is a mark up based on demand....check out the mark downs on certain colors or sizes on ******.
That is just how it works.

I think all my bags are overpriced - Bbags and Chanel, and coming up, the MT. But I buy them because I like the style. When I saw MK's MT, I didn't really get attracted to it as much as when I saw Wendy's pictures. I do have to see them either IRL or modeled by someone else. Why I buy overpriced bags is another story. I see them as rewards for working hard!

SkyBlue, my main issue with MT (aside from overall quality for the cost) was that my bag was dyed VERY unevenly. My bag was light pink, and there were spots all over the bag that were darker and more saturated, and also yellowed/discolored areas. Also, the handles on my bag were two completely different colors.

This was just my experience...I'm sure you and many others who like and enjoy MT will hopefully have a better one!

Regarding quality- I agree that that they are overpriced (see prior post). I guess my biggest issue is that for an up and coming brand, they shouldn't be starting out with a price point of $600-800 especially when there are obvious issues with quality control. My 1st MT bag I had to get replaced because the top of the flap was coming unglued after only 1 week of wear. My replacement came with multiple areas of wear (the dye peeling off) along the top edge of the bag. I ended up keeping it because I was just too lazy to try to replace it again and figured that the areas wouldn't be seen when i put the flap part over it. That being said, I love the look and how I don't have to baby this bag. I just would never spend more than $300 on it again.

I bought my bags from ****** and Erica has been really wonderful to work with. I hope she passes along these issues to MT so he can fix them or at least decrease the price point.

Hi All, I have definitely given extensive feedback to Marco...myself and my assistant spent an entire day photographing problems and communicating to him the issues and concerns. He has been very helpful and is working to fix some of the issues. xxxxxx He has expressed that the dye process involves a time consuming hand washing type process, which is the main contributor to the price of the bag. I will continue to give feedback xxxxxxx.
