Question to anyone who has had a MT for awhile--how does the thin leather hold up to everyday use? I have been looking for a "slouchy" bag for some time, but I'm worried about the durability of the thin, soft leather such as that used for these bags. Thanks in advance!
I have been using my MT 24/7 now. Even if I just got the bag, I can tell that it will last long. The thinness of the leather is deceiving. It is actually very durable and, as many have said, it can take quite a beating. I even stuff it with heavy things and it is as sturdy as a school bag!
Off topic: I am assuming you like the music Lush Life by Billy Strayhorn? It is my 18-yr old son's favorite!! He sang it at his last voice recital!

Thanks Anna! I'm looking at the "Intermediate" size at ******--it seems like the perfect everyday work bag for me, so its good to know that it can handle a little wear and tear.

He hears the word "mature" more than sophisticated, LOL. He chose to sing the song at their honors class banquet, and no one really understood the song so the clapping was not as loud as when he sings a more popular tune from like Maroon 5 or something. LOL I love Strayhorn songs!
Back to the MT-- if you get the intermediate, don't forget to post photos! I am curious myself!
Anna- Wendy likens the small MT to a speedy 25. Like both of u I'm also 5'0 but think the speedy 25 is a tad small. However looking at all the small mt pics, it seems bigger than the speedy 25. Especially with the pic next to yr gst. I love the size of the Bal city on me, if it's closer in size to the city I think that would work- lemme know yr thoughts. I hope to order one next week!
It is actually close in size to the Bal City. I don't know how much a Town would fit, but I would say MT is in between the Town and City. Definitely not as small as a First. Someone on this thread said around 3 inches difference between the City and MT. I hope that helps!
Erica, thanks for the intermediate size modeling pic! That actually looks like the size of a Bal Work!
