^Good close up pics, Lizz. Hmm. Honestly, the reason I bought a small bag is because I saw less of the imperfections in the small size compared to the medium and large. I immediately looked at the back of my bag to see if the glued part is clearly delineated as Lizz's, but it is not. As for the small pocket inside, I put 2 of my lipsticks in there. My cellphone (a Blackberry) goes in the main compartment on the side so I can easily get it. The posts where the "belt" loops through - I was also surprised that it was open on top but it is really not a big deal.

I took pics of my small against my Chanel GST for more comparison purposes. The small really fits a lot except of course for papers and small folders that can fit in the GST.

GOD I wish the reviews on the quality weren't so poor. I really love the look of this bag!

I think people who bought this bag, being PRICEY, are trying to nitpik from small minor details to the obvious things that is not perfect. I have the Small Black & I really like it. I wouldn't mind getting another Small in different color combo, but at discounted price though.

I think you should get 1, you'll love it.

I was worried about the handles being too long, but they are not. Yes, this bag does look black in a lot of different lights (which I like).

Congrats on your new MT. Too bad the Medium is a little big on me, I have the Small though I can't fit into my shoulder, but it's lightweight, she's duable on the arm, hand or crossbody & still adorable.

I thought I would also give an honest review of some of the things I don't like about the bag. (But keep in mind I do really like it overall!)

First of all, the leather on the top of the bag that holds the handles is a different texture than the rest of the bag. It's kind of bubbly, and I think that's because the leather flap on the inside is glued to the bag, which makes it bubbly (kind of like when you glue something onto a piece of paper, and it gets kind of bubbly). It is like this on the top of the back and front of the bag. Here's a pic. I circled the part where the texture differs.

Next, the dye on one side of the back handle is not evenly dyed and is a different color purple than the rest of the bag. This is kind of annoying. Here is a pic without flash so you can see the dye difference. I circled the unevenly dyed part.

Next, the cell phone pocket is too small. My iPhone fits in it, but it is snug and I never use this pocket because it just takes too long to get it in each time.

This is not something that really bothers me, but I didn't realize it because I had never seen the bag in person before and had seen no closeup shots of it. The two silver "posts" on the front of the bag that the leather "belt" goes through is actually open on the top and not closed, as I had thought. It's no big deal, but just thought a new buyer should know this.

And the bag is not lined, which is something that might bother some people. I really don't care. Also, the leather is extremely thin-feeling. This doesn't bother me because it makes the bag lighter in weight.

Thanks for the detailed review, even w/ the imperfections, you still love it. I'm sure it's very helpful for the people who's considering this bag. Maybe not all the colors have the same dye problems, luckily it's in dark color that is tolerable. Then again, for this price, I don't blame you to expect a perfect bag. I do too.

I got the Small Black too, I was amazed how much it holds, though not perfect in quality for the price, but I like leather & the look when stuffed.

I dont always carry one with me but was curious to see if it would fit.

Anyone else with a small that can answer this? I'm sure it'll fit in a medium because it fits in my Bal city.

I'm still trying to decide between mt small/ medium! And don't even ask me abt hardware.. It's been a constant back n forth in my head!!

Took a picture of the inside of my bag -- it holds my long wallet, a sunglass case, reading eyeglasses case, a small notebook, my Blackberry (not in bag since I used it to take this picture! , tons of little thingies inside the back pocket and 2 lipsticks in the smaller pocket that is meant for a small cellphone. I think there should be space for your camera, if it is as small as an iPhone!

^^^ I have the lime green medium. It's the perfect summer bag for me, especially since I don't work in the summers and spend everyday out and about with my daughter.

This bag is so cute and comfy... and LIGHTWEIGHT. Today, I had my usual wallet, sunglasses, and cosmetics pouch. But I also had room for my daughter's toys, lots of snacks/drinks, a light sweater, etc... I loved how easy it was to carry (by hand, on the shoulder, crossbody). The medium was perfect for a full day at the park. Best of all? I still felt a bit chic, even at the park.

Will post some mod pics tomorrow...

Thanks! I had the small, but it was just too tiny. I've seen pictures of the medium, but sometimes the handle looks too long, and sometimes it doesn't.

Yea I think the issue I do have is the price for the workmanship/quality doesn't seem to equate! I love the look, but if it's got glue and all that...that bugs me. Why is it not stitched, at that price it should be well stitched.

Ok, so, my Anthracite Medium SHW and Lime Green Small GHW came in today!!
So far, I am loving the medium, I think the small will grow on me more. The Medium, I think, is a great everyday-size - it can fit all your essentials with room to spare. The small will fit everything within reason - and to whoever asked, yes, I think a DSLR will fit just fine, although I can't say how much more room you will have.

The first thing I noticed was the handles are SOFT. The handles are a great length on the Medium - you can wear the bag on your shoulder, with the strap/crossbody, or the crook of your arm VERY comfortably. The small is a strap or carry it by the handle only kind of thing, at least mine is. The handles are even too small to fit down to the crook, and I have fairly thin-average arms. The color for each is beautiful - the anthracite is a nice dark charcoal. In the pictures without flash, it almost looks black, but don't be fooled, it's definitely gray. The lime is excellent and saturated. Both of the hardware colors are pretty too. I didn't notice any discrepancies with the dying of the leather.

As far as the craftsmanship, I'd say it's good. It's not the best I've ever seen, but I don't feel cheated in any way in terms of price. I inspected both bags pretty closely, and I think I can say that a lot of the issues that I read most people having are due to the thing that makes the bag the way it is: the thinness of the leather. It's VERY thin. It gives it that casual, slouchy look but can also be a con. The lack of lining I thought would bother me, but it really doesn't. The underside of the leather is very smooth and even. The zipper pocket inside is a good size. The cell phone pocket fits my iPhone 4 excellent but I don't use a case - I can see how a bulky case would make this useless. It works for me.
Here is a close up pic of one thing that bothered me when I compared the two. I'm not sure if this will get better with time or if it will always look this way.

The more I look at how the small fits on my body, the more I like it. I think if the handles were a little longer, I would truly be in love with it. Oh well, it's warming up to me

Tokimeki, in no time at all you will get used to the small and will like it as much! I'm not sure longer handles will look nice on the small, the proportions look just right. I did think about the medium, too, just so I can wear the bag on my shoulder. Both sizes look great on you! Congratulations!
