Kara- I spent a few hours reading through this thread. As soon as I saw that you had several of these medium MT bags, it sealed the deal for me and I bought the bag!
Thank you, Erica! I love the bag! I was pleasantly surprised by the following: 1) it came with a dustbag; 2) I checked the flap in the bottom of the bag and saw that it was stitched rather than glued, so nothing to worry about, and it looked quite sturdy; 3) the overall stitching was even and quite tight, I did not see lose thread or anything of that sort; and 4) I agree with everyone who said this can withstand some beating and less babying. Although the leather is thin when you feel it, you can put a ton of stuff inside and it does not seem like anything can pull the bag apart. Love it, love it, love it!!!

Still having problems posting pictures; just wanted to comment some more about the bag after using it last night. The small is indeed small, bigger than a Balenciaga First but a tad smaller than a Bal City. I transferred everything that is in my City and it's all in the MT. It is right for me because of my height (5 feet) but I am not as petite as Wendy so I was a bit worried at first. It took me a while to get used to the crumpled look, it can be startling to see the wrinkles at first, but the bag did grow on me the more I stared at it (I do that to all my bags, I know, crazy, right?).
The biggest question for me - does it look like an Hermes wannabe? It clearly is not an Hermes because of the wrinkle factor. But the answer depends on who you ask - the Hermes snob will, of course, say it is a wannabe. The MT enthusiast (count me in) will know it is an MT, including those who own Birkins. KWIM?
