Marc Jacobs Percy or Michael Kors Medium Selma Messenger?

Hello ladies

It was my boyfriend and I's two year anniversary in April (we just choose whatever day works well for us because he never formally asked me out haha) but since he is on vacation in Europe we didn't get a chance to celebrate so we're going to celebrate when he gets back in a week and a half.

I've been very interested in the Marc Jacobs by Marc Jacobs Percy cross body bag and the Michael Kors medium Selma messenger .. and I just can't choose between them! I can't decide between the flap Percy vs the regular Percy either. My boyfriend is paying half of whichever one I choose and they're roughly the same price, so it just comes down to which one I like more.

What would you choose?

Another reason I'm leaning towards the MJ is because I wouldn't normally spend that much money on such a tiny bag but since my bf is paying half and it's going to be sentimental to me, I think I may go with that one.. but not sure yet.

We're going to go to Holt Renfrew and try both of them on then decide.
