I miss True Blood too!!! We actually named our old english sheepdog after Sookie Stackhouse:p(but you already know that gb59!).
I have been super excited to see Rome replaying, I LOVE that series.
Most of all I want my Sons Of Anarchy back on, now!

I am so bummed that True Blood is over. I am reading all the books right now. I think I am on #4. I told my daughter that I am going to get two more dogs and name them Sookie and Bill. It's such a great show.

gooddog, yes, I love that you named your dog Sookie! How sweet! Whats Sons of Anarchy? I  Rome! Titus Verenus and Pullo rock.

rorosity, I'm on book #3, just started it! I love the True Blood series, love the way the author writes.

OMG, you're reading it?? that's so funny.... I finished all 8 books and loved it!! The first few are much better than the last couple, but it's still a lot of fun overall. Charlaine weaves an imaginative tale. I really like the 4th book the best, followed by the first(rorosity, you're in a for a treat!). After book 3, I'll tell you what I hope Sookie gets in the 9th book, due in May.

As for the HBO series... I read the books before the series came out, and there's definitely a difference. The tv show expands a lot on the other characters, which I think is necessary so it can be a show. However, I prefer the books because it sticks more to Sookie's character and her character development.

gypsy, rorosity, let me know if you want to borrow any of my books - I've got them all!

i even had to cancel my netflix. I had cloverfield sitting around for like 3 months and couldn't take it anymore. We're all about on demand. We're to finicky to decide in advance what we might want to see on any given day.

I canceled mine as well(blockbuster) for the same reason... I never returned the movies and basically wasted the membership. But now that HBO has no shows for me, I restarted Netflix.... it's nice to be able to watch the live streaming shows and movies, and I can hook it directly up to my TV.

I love, love, love on demand workouts though... they're great!!

^he he....I wish I was motivated enough and had the time to do a on demand workout!! I am lucky to get one of my standard go to tapes in in a day!!!Plus kinda hard to do something that you aren't familiar with

Ooh! The True Blood books are good?! I'm so using my Borders gift card from Christmas for that! I have the DVDs in my Netflix queue but they're not even out yet. We get a million channels that we never watch, but not HBO and Showtime, unfortunately. I'll have to wait for season 3 of Dexter, too, and that's going to be so hard! Maybe the True Blood books will help with the wait!!

^ they're tons of fun! I recommend getting the entire set... it'll save you money in the long run.

Otherwise, the twilight series are good, but definitely a teen version of the sookie books.

I like the on demand workouts because it gives me a chance to try some new stuff... yoga, pilates, kickboxing, abs, dance workouts.... it's a lot of variety.

Hubby loves doing the yoga and cardio yoga. He does them every AM.
