congrats hon!!!Hey you guys! I can't stay on for very long but I just wanted to let you all know....
(I used navy blue 'cause that's one of the colors we wantI'm engaged!
I know many of you were sending 'good vibes' this way when I mentioned that it might happen soon, so I wanted to let you guys know... and to say thanks, because apparently they worked! Yay!
hey karmey...seems to me the blue/red combo is more of a redish blue color, like pen ink kinda indigo...whereas the teal version seems more really deep peacock or like royal indigo. that's a very tough call as i think they're both really gorgeous... i almost am drawn to the dark indigo though....seems like the red topstitching version might be harder to match with outfits unless you wear neutrals, whereas the dark indigo would go with more...Hey giRlZ!
Sorry for interrupting the doggie talk...
I have a question for you XpeRtZ: Have any of you
seen both Indigo (burgundy stitching and lining) and
Dark Indigo (teal " & ") MJs in person?
Most people seem to prefer the burgundy version,
but I'm kind of changing my mind to wanting the
teal version. What do you thinK?
that is so cute! you gotta give me tips on how wrangle the BF to do that. Thanks guys
December 19th of next year, we think. It's hard to say because we haven't inquired about the church yet, but that's what we're hoping for! We both want him to graduate so he can move to be with me before we get married. Wouldn't that be awful to be separated for like six months after marriage, and to only see each other like once a month? Eek! So, we're just going to get married later on.
He asked me on Christmas day. The box he had gotten me was HUGE, so I didn't think it was a ring at all (more like a GPS, which is what I had asked for). I unwrapped it and the box was covered in masking tape, which I couldn't pry off myself. He said, "Let me take it from here," and I was like "Yeah, 'cause I don't have any scissors to get that tape off...". So when he got it done I started rummaging through the tissue paper and he said "No, I mean, I need to do this part." And I was like "Oh..." and he was like "Do you know what it is?" I said "No" and then he got down on one knee and extracted the jewelry box from the big package and said "Do you know what it is now?" So I was like "Yeah!!!" Haha!
Of course I said yesand the rest is history!
