You really do get completely consumed with the house-hunting bug. I was constantly looking, driving around, searching the internet. We bought when there was really low inventory and everyone was looking. It is much nicer now. There are so many more properties for sale. It is true that the ads can be deceiving. I saw so many awful things. One place we saw (it's actually in our tract and the same house model as mine) was being sold after a nasty divorce and the husband had just vacated. He left a huge mess..holes in walls, beer bottles everywhere, porno mags in every room. The pool was filled with disgusting sludge. LOL. I was happy we found ours the next week.

4% is freaking INCREDIBLE!! When we bought this house I was actually a mortgage broker (very brief stint) and we still only got 6.35%, so now that we can get below 5% it'll be well worth it!

Tad, did you see Delman's on Gilt today? :graucho:

Sweet, ever since you got your Gucci I've been dying for something guccissima! I LOVE this one but I can't find it anywhere but BBOS.

omg! i had no idea. thanks for telling me.

that gucci is nice. my mother has a tote from that line in that exact color, i think. the the gucci stam was only on the corners. i can't find a pic, but it's a beautiful bag. the leather is perfection.

Dawn, that really is sweet of your co-workers. I bet they were really proud of themselves and were thrilled with all the squeals!

One of my co-workers is so sweet. She gave me a Trapp candle and some yummy dark chocolate with blueberries. I haven't even bought cards yet. I have got to go do that today.

i just scored a pair of brown leather flats from the gilt delman sale fr $82! delman is one of my favorite brands for flats and i've been looking for a pair of comfortable brown ones forever! now i can retire my tory burch ones once and for all. you're a shopping goddess, pm! bringing hg's and wishlist items to those in need.
