this is simply so heartening to hear amid news of declining quality and customer service at other design houses. it really validates my love for mj that the company is devising ways to make both new and loyal fans happy. warms my little heart.
I think this would be a great deal as well. I agree with everyone else about the free 18mo repair period.
I would love more details as well like if you would have to make a decision to have this warranty when you buy the bag or if it would be something you could buy at any point or on a bag previously purchased. Definitely seems interesting though!

This policy has not been set up yet, but we are still working on it.
I know there are many questions, the only thing I can tell you in
advance the policy repair will be extend from 18 months to 24 months
for MJ Collections bags....between us ok?

I just discovered this thread after having to go in search of a repair facility for one of my Marc Jacobs handbags. I noticed yesterday, while out shopping, that I'd lost a handle stud at some point that day. I'm so grateful to find out about you, Diego and I'd be even happier to know that there's an option of extending the repair time for our precious lovelies. Please inform us when you come up with a decision and thanks for being there for us!
I would love an update on this. I definitely think the time is right to address this. With the price of these bags rising and wallets shrinking, it is even more important that our investements are protected. When I purchase an MJ (Collection, especially), I hope that it is a bag that can possibly last a lifetime with good care. It is important that we have someone we can trust to work on these bags and keep them in good condition.
Also, I was reading back to some of the posts in this thread and someone mentioned that they tend to purchase bags on E bay and there is sometimes a very minor problem with the bag, like a missing piece of hardware, etc. It would be wonderful to be able to have these items fixed. It is sad to think that a beautiful MJ bag that has nothing wrong with it, save a very minor missing piece of hardware, would sit on a shelf or be tossed aside because of it. There should be a way to have this stuff fixed. I know many forum members have needed replacement rivets, zipper pulls, etc. It is no fun to wear a bag that has missing pieces and I would gladly pay to have stuff like this repaired.
