i totally agree on the limited warranty for free with new bags withoin a timeframe, and when that time frame expires, give us the option of purchasing one.

i think since we're sort of a focus group or something, MJ should sign a bunch of shirts and give them to us 
Also have to chime in, I support this totally. It would be so much more convenient to have a plan like this, and I would be open to various fee plans.
I think it's a really good idea, but like most everyone else, I think there should still be a period of time after your initial purchase (say 18 mos) that a bag purchased BRAND NEW is covered free of charge. I think there's a difference in damage to a bag that's only a few months old versus one that's maybe 5 yrs old --
one other thing -- I think it might be a good idea to charge a nominal fee for bags that are in need of repair beyond the initial "warranty" period, instead of offering an extended warranty (at an addtl charge) at the time of purchase -- it's like a lot of other things we buy. How many of us actually choose to buy the extended warranty? And you may never actually need it anyhow -- charging on an "as needed" basis, would be an excellent option
