interesting...i didnt notice that shoulder do-hickey, but then again, i wasn't looking for it...
I was at the MbyMJ store tonight - I wish I had brought my camera with me!! - they had the cutest Petal to the Metal Bag. It's larger than the Pouchette, smaller than the Sasha. I believe the name of the bag is the "Gordy" bag and it's $298. It's sorta like a crescent moon shape with an extra long strap (to be worn cross-body). At the very top of the strap - where it rests on your shoulder - is a very unique shoulder pad, that's kinda knotted (it's hard to explain, but really cute). The bag is pretty roomy for a small bag. There's one main compartment and a pocket on the front similar to the pocket on the front of the Sasha/Natasha (I don't remember if it has zipper pockets on the sides or not - I want to say yes, but I'm not sure).
It can hold a lot more than the pouchette can hold, but it's still small enough that if someone didn't need to carry a whole lot and/or found the Sasha/Natasha too large, this would probably be the perfect size.
I might take a ride back up there this weekend and if I do, will snap a few pics of this really cute little bag!!

so are the natashas really sold out? i cant believe that! there must be another round of them right?? i mean they can just be sold out....they're resort, right? or spring 2010??
when I was at MbyMJ last night, she said everything from that line is selling very quickly and that this is the last season they're doing the line - she said there are no plans to re-release the Petal to the Metal series for Spring/Summer
I was wrong it is coming up again. Didn't come up for me before and they removed it from my wish list but it's working for me again.
Wow, but I can't say that I'm surprised considering how pretty they came out. I'm still hoping that I can find a Newsprint or Black Natasha!
that's nuts! i mean i understand they're popular, but i really didn't see them dissapearing this quickly, quite honestly. im so glad to have been able to purchase one when i did, because i know just a few days after i placed my order, bloomies had sold out...

For those still looking for either the Sasha or Natasha, I was at Bergdorf Goodman this past weekend and they had a few of both styles in stock. I debated the Sasha in black, but I recall seeing a darker brown (sorry that I am not familiar with the color names) and a electric purple color. I think the only Natasha they had was the cement color. The bags were located on the 5th Floor.

I wish they'd continue with the Petal lines. Seeing as how they are very popular (obviously) I'd think it would be good for the company as well. I love the birds.
