Yeah, the name and color changed but the bag didn't. I thought that was weird, too. It seems that petal to the metal was/is very popular, why change a good thing?

The Petal to the Metal Sasha is still available in new colors
I thought the Natasha was just a new edition to the Petal to the Metal family (along with a bunch of SLGs)
I haven't seen any other Sasha bags - can someone post a pic if there are others?

ahhhh, thanks for clarification Monica!! I too, prefer the birds however the lightness of this leather weight wise might provide a much needed brake from the birdie's from time to time! lol Too bad the scramble lettering is STILL around! There are so many other cool prints to choose from!
I believe Saks online have a couple of errors on their site with the pttm range. They have a pic of a Sasha (or it is the Natasha?) and they call that the Mevie and they had a pic of a Mevie and called that a Sasha [I believe the Mevie is the Resort version of last seasons Evie and they look the same (hobo style pttm), not sure if they are a different size].
I emailed Saks last week to get them to fix the two errors, b/c I want to buy the cement (light grey) Sasha and I don't want to be surprised by receiving a Mevie in January (no doubt after all the Sashas are sold out elsewhere). They took down the 'Sasha' that was with a Mevie pic but haven't fixed the 'Mevie' with the Sasha/Natasha pic. Also they call the color 'newsprint' but the pic is of the light grey, called cement. Buyer beware!
If it is a Sasha they are selling it would be $498. If it is a Natasha it should be $398. I believe MJ is doing both sizes (styles) in cement -- which to choose!!!? Bloomingdales has the cement pttm Natasha available for immediate shipment online now. Personally, I'm leaning toward getting the bigger Sasha. It took all my strength to hold off getting a black one last season waiting for this pretty pale grey to come out. I can't wait to get one!

I wonder whether shopbop.com will be getting these in (I know they had the Sasha in black). If they do, they ship for free and there's no tax. They are super friendly, I'm sure if you asked they could tell you whether they are getting the one you want in and when. If you do ask, please let us know what they said!

I haven't checked those sites recently, so I don't even know if they have them - I know Piperlime DID have the Sasha from F/W but sold out when they had some kind of 1-day sale on MbyMJ bags.
Of course there would be shipping and unfortunately, tax, but there's always the MbyMJ store. Do you know anyone who lives outside the state of CA (within a state that doesn't have a MJ store) who could maybe order this for you?

I'm not sure if you should swap out of your Marsh brown. I recall your pics, it was pretty and a classic color.

I bet both of those will look as the leather ages!
that's one of the things I love most about this bag is how the leather ages the more you use it -- it gives the bag a bit more character.
I'm definitely going to check out these colors in person and then decide what to do!!
yep, that is the one! i guess i was confused because i didn't think the sasha came in that color, and i just saw the measurements and the bag is huge.
