I am anticipating my first Agneau bag - I caved and bought a Black SGH Work from RR - so am really looking forward to feeling it in person.
Not sure if I would classify as a "chévre snob" but I sort of identify as one lol. Especially when it comes to A, B, C, Z or V tags :loveeyes:

I wonder if it has anything to do with the source of the leather or maybe the dye or how its treated
The Tempete bag I had was agneau and it had that smelly, cheap, plastic feel I remember anthracite having back in 2008 which turned me off of agneau for years, but the violet/grape City I received a few weeks ago has spectacular leather. By itself, one might swear its chevre, but when I compared it to all my other chevre bags, the difference was more obvious

I've always preferred lamb's leather bags to goat leather, but Balenciaga's use of it always puzzled me

Was looking for a Bal that I could easily wear crossbody.. prices for the Town style are waay to much for me now and then I stumbled upon this one.
Flat messenger bag in this gorgeous red/orangy color (pic doesn't do it justice and if someone knows the color drop a hint), needs some cream to make it soft again but I'm in love 🤭.

* also can't decide which bag I want the charm to stay on*

Really amazing color and leather.
I once had a courier in that color and sold it like an idiot. ☹️
