Sorry I'm way late to this thread. I remember these days, it was the last time I went to BalNY during the Spring/Summer 2007 season it was all chevre. Then Fall/Winter 2007 had both chevre and agneau bags. By Spring/Summer 2008 they were all agneau. Would ya'll say that agneau leather changed in 2012? Less likely to color change, and not as silky soft.

And I think they started to coat the bags with something that year.
 
I don't remember the year but I remember when the leathers looked like the wrinkles were not done by nature....like intentional wrinkles. And also, like @muchstuff said, the leather was coated. I think the colors look more painted on now. What a shame. Why couldn't they just leave well enough alone??
