I have a black/flamma veg tanned bucket. I really like how smooth the inside feels. Anyone knows how easy it scratches? It does not seem to be as easily scratched as the outside, but I feel nervous digging around inside with my left hand in case my wedding ring scratches it up.
I'm not sure if you're still considering these two options, but I bought the brandy/cleo combination and have some pics here. HTH.

i am in such a dilemma, I managed to get a good selection of bags this time around, the lady in black / flamma and but cant decide between the bucket bag in calf colour rosa and veg tan in black flamma. I love the rosa colour but worry if there is a problem with colour transfer. has anyone had any issues with colour transfer. would the calf be better in rainier climates?

I've had one for a while now. No scratches or anything on the inside.
I think after having a calf one and veg tanned that veg tanned is my favourite. Haven't used the calf yet... It's still in the maybe pile.
I'd like to know about colour transfer too and how the calf wears over time. I'm still not convinced to keep mine yet.

How long have you used the veg tan for? I am wondering if it is as delicate as they say or if a bit of rain is ok, and daily use isnt too much.
No problem, just makes it easier to know what you're referring to. I have several veg tanned cammellos-they will show rain spots, but you can protect and condition your bag and it will hold up fine!!
It makes sense! I am just so confused by it all.
I think the mini is perfect for the weekend, the mini mini is too small.
What sized are yours? MG customer service said local leather care places can waterproof them, have you tried this?
I have the regular size lady bag, a large bucket and a large tote. I have conditioned my tote and bucket but still have not treated the lady bag although I have used it for several weeks now. I have waterproofed the large bucket myself-it did not completely protect it and I don't wear it in downpours, and generally try to avoid the rain with all but my patent leather bags. I will take a picture of my lady bag and post them in a minute.
